Disagree.

Poise is a great trait. Poise does you no good when you have to chase a bolting defender. One of Eddies greatest assets is his ability to remain in every contest and he's been able to do that because he's always been quick. His chase in our forward line has been fantastic over the years. I don't see Stengle has that pace to add that important aspect to his game. I'll be ecstatic to be proven wrong.

Just interested to see who gets dropped.

Best we stop papering over cracks for the rest of the year and let the catharsis take hold.

This ridiculous facade about clinging on to play finals is infuriating.

Play Jones/McHenry/Scholl and whoever else has some semblance of talent.

My guess
Betts/Murphy
Gibbs /Wilson
Jones*/Atkins

* Don’t be surprised if it’s Douglas instead

Jacobs possible if ROB fails concession test

Isn't McHenry still injured? afl.com have him at 2-4weeks out still.

You only need one totally rapid small forward in there, quite a simple solution really - get someone with that sort of pace to play alongside Stengle. From what I have seen, Stengle will get you 45+ goals a year.

I don't really care who gets picked for the weekend ... I'm ambivalent for the first time in a loooong time.

Unless there is a plan to prepare the team for winning finals who gives a rats clacker?

We played OTTEN last week my friends. Great team man, but he must have been embarrassed to be taking the spot of a young vibrant up and comer.

If I see more of:

JENKINS
MACKAY
DOUGLAS
OTTEN
ATKINS

And none of:

JONES
HIMMELBERG
FOGARTY
STENGLE
SCHOLL
BUTTS

I'll be less than shocked.

What I think will happen:

In: Douglas, Gibbs, Betts
Out: Murphy, Wilson, Walker

What I'd do:

In: Jones, Fogarty, Betts, Scholl, Gallucci, Himmelberg
Out: Wilson, McKay, Otten, Kelly, Walker, Seedsman

I think we increase speed, desperation and a better tall / small balance.

Dropping the RAT is a must. The difference in performance between his good games (often against bottom six teams) and his bad games is like the Grand Canyon. Our long term wingers are Jones and McHenry and since Ned is injured I wouldn’t mind seeing Chayce and Ben Davis on the wings this week.

Reckon a "name" gets dropped tonight. By that I mean a rusted on 22 member like Atkins or Seedsman.

Wilson, Seedsman, Stengle, Jenkins out, Douglas, Betts, Fogarty, Gibbs in - so says Rowe on 5AA

Gibbs, Betts fair enough
Fogarty - about f**ing time
Douglas - where do we line up to hit the selectors

Wilson, Stengle - WTF??? - give them a bloody fair go in the team
Seedsman - bang out of form and i think that knee of his has inhibited his running and a full rest is needed
Jenkins - meh
