Does a few things each game where you "Gee has something" which seems to completely overshadow the 4-5 spud things he does.
Frampton   .

He's so bad that even the few "something-good" things look better than they are because they're better than his usual awfulness, eg his "pass" to Hinge near the end of the PA game.
People praised him for being the sweeper --- my take is that he is clueless about positioning and figures if he is out by himself then he cannot be beaten by an opponent.
Too harsh? :sneaky:
Early last year he was alone in No Man's Land mid-wing and when the ball forced him to change direction he fell over his own feet, ffs.
Others praised him for kicking to Hinge, rather than bombing away but --- c'mon, let's face it --- he flubbed that kick under no oppo pressure. It's a good thing that Hinge gathered it so well and fired it into the F50 at leading players.

P.S. I don't know what the story is with McAsey (EDIT: anybody got any info, please?), but I'd rather see McAsey getting games under AFL pressure than watch Frampton spudding it up back there.

This is what I think of everytime people say they like his distribution. Has no game awareness and couldn't execute a 10m pass.

Berry's had a strong summer from preseason reports so it will be great to see him get some mid time.

Slightly concerned with Shoenberg, disposal has been very poor and having little impact in the contest.
Will Berry definitely get midfield time tomorrow?

If the Sack Nicks thread starts, can we please add a Sack Roo and Sack Reid thread?

When we're at that stage, then we know the review clearly did not go far enough and there's more baggage to be moved on.
There is a "Ive lost my faith in Nick's thread", unfortunately its closed.

The thread lost its faith in itself.
It does seem to be a recurring theme, and we were in this situation with Pyke too.

Continuing to give games to either guys who will clearly never amount to anything (ie Frampton) or senior players who are horribly and consistently out of form (ie ROB).

The more things change, the more they stay the same. I just don’t know why you wouldn’t be giving Josh Worrell the chunk of games that Frampton is getting for example (ie take the opportunity to see if you find out something you don’t know yet).

Wouldn't mind an umpire change though. Simon Meredith. How has he not been dropped for his last few weeks?
This clown always torches us too, every single game. The AFL wonders why umpires get abused? Of the current crop of maggots he's got to be close to Exhibit A for us.

We’ve bought a place in Penola, going to live half Mt gambier half Penola. I see a lot of red wine in my future.
Good choice, you are going to have access to a lot of the best VFM quality reds on your doorstep most days of the week.

Feenix said rowey sounded off on their podcast so maybe he’s ill.
On the whole though the changes stink, once again out of form seniors aren’t dropped, back them in boys.
How ROB was selected this week, is a travesty to Strauchan .....choose any AFL listed backup Ruckman, and they could beat ROB atm

We picked O'Brien because we gave him a 4 year contract. It's that simple

Are we playing an injured sub again ? Did we learn nothing from that lynch sub debacle?

Mcadam for Rowe speeds up our fwd line alot and makes them faster.

Hinge if fit should be in the team, he's far from the worst right now...
Hinge has pulled out of the EMG players ....assume he hasn't come up

At times last week, ROB was out on his feet, late in Qtrs ......he needs to regain the hunger ....it's not going to happen, if he's selected unconditionally .....he's really not that good

At the moment while we’re being fairly competitive in games we’re willing to carry ROB Sloane Crouch and others on the basis that “they’re better players than what they’re showing and if they can just get back to that level of form we’ll get over the line in more games.”

Of course this completely ignores the fact their best form may be behind them (Sloane) and they’ll probably never be better again (though Tex proved us wrong on this last year)

Meanwhile development of some of the youngsters is stalling. I know that playing in competitive games where we win occasionally is better than being belted each week, but selection of some of these older players does seem a little off track atm

There’s a bit of weirdness to wade through in this piece but also some bloody impressive analysis of the way we’re trying to play (with bonus screenshots and graphics). Worth a read.

fu** me..

Picks out every player thats played under 50 games to torch.

Says nothing about the utter garbage several of the experienced guys in the team have dished up..

Is that you Nicksy?
FU** me!!!!

Can you actually read the post before going off the deep end as usual?

I was responding to a post that said we were dropping our Kids without giving them a decent run of games. I outlined the many games in a row given to Murray, Butts, Schoenberg, Jones, McHenry, Rowe and Fogarty. Which of these players do YOU think have been performing well??

I never suggested that there aren’t more experienced players that should be dropped. In fact, I said there were only FOUR players who would be happy with their output this season (Rachele, Dawson, Tex and KEAYS).

If you do not have time to properly read what others have posted then please stick to your embarrassing rants about KEAYS.
