For this week's game , Gov gone for season I would think .

Yeah I’m working on the theory that they’re trying to bait us into watching by sizzling a story we already know.

Pissed with with posters wanting us to lose.

Freo is thataway kents.
No one wants us to lose you projecting turkey. Just pointing out the obvious that doing so means we have the first couple of picks of the best talent in Australia. Get this one out the way and this consideration doesn't factor for the rest of the year. Back end of 2022 becomes a massive preseason into next year with a greatly reinforced list.

Anyone wanting to see the team lose is a disgrace and should consider handing in their membership.

Preparation for 2023 starts RIGHT NOW. Every game is important. ALL OF THEM.

Winning is a habit. And losing can become an addiction. I know which one I'd prefer to see.
Joke's on you, I'm not a member.

Its not like a couple of wins is going to make much of a difference. We're still aiming for a top 3 pick.
That's true unless the standout pick of the draft and player you intended drafting goes the selection before yours. Like Geelong did with Kelly for example. Big loss for banking a dead rubber half way through a historically shit year.

As Keys put it to me last week, realistically we wont finish any higher than 16th (with North and Essendon below us). Factor in the AFL might give North pick 1 as a PP (due to their likely spoon in successive seasons and the fact that they stupidly traded out of the second round) the worst case scenario from here would be pick 4 as our first pick. Seems like there is not much difference in quality between the top four or five players.
