Gimp - you're a good sport - others would go:ballistic over my smart:a**e post

If you dish it out a bit you gotta be willing to take some shit as well.

I take the Mickey out of myself as well re.

I make people smile and from all acts bigfooty registration has increased 2 fold as a result of my presense re.

Worried about this game, with the last week so full on with two massive matches, I just really hope this isn't a drop in intensity and lose this game. Hopefully there are a few changes to combat that.
Out: Aish, Reid, Mayne, Blair, Brown
In: Varcoe, Adams, Moore, Fasolo, Sier
If Grundy doesn't get up I'd go Cox in the ruck with Moore helping and play another running player

im glad we waited out on him. He has started to pay dividends in his performance and will only grow from here.

Man I said the bloke was a gun based on the few things I saw in him early.. I have a brilliant eye for talent. Aish as well re. Broomhead is another one I rate highly.. pity we didn't get to see him this yr.. Witts. Frost. Maynard as a defender.. move Crisp down back.. said all this shit way before they were universally accepted.

Imma go for a recruiting job re..

Said friggen 3 yrs ago.. don't micro manage your players.. instinct is what it's about. Personality first and foremost. They're adults.. let them make up their own minds re.

Said this shit way before Hardwick got the drift.

Going to make the early call but I think both Blair and Mayne will stay in this week. Looks like 3 forced changes and there’s every chance there’s a tired body or two that’ll need a rest. At this stage I think it’s:

Aish -> Adams
Reid -> Moore
Grundy -> McLarty

In saying that you’d think the three managed players in Varcoe, Langdon and Crocker probably come back in fresh. Wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of the younger guys need a rest also.

Hardest selection for the year so far. I’ve got no idea how it plays out.

Don’t like these forced changes. Having to replace Aish and Reid, and potentially Maynard, Grundy and maybe even Treloar. Varcoe and Langdon coming back too?

Our good form of the last four weeks has been sustained by few personnel changes. We were pretty much flying until we hit the wall late in the third quarter against Richmond. That was a ferocious game. I’m not surprised we have collateral damage - but not the Tiges?

Ringing these changes reminds me of the dark days of 2014-17, with constant churn. Hope it’s only temporary and we return to a settled lineup very soon.

I read Buckley has said Wells in unlikely and it doesn't sound like Elliott will be back, so I'd go with this:

Out: Reid (inj), Aish (inj), Mayne, Blair, Appleby
In: Moore, Adams, Fasolo, Varcoe, Langdon

If Maynard is out, throw in Wills or give Sier a run.

I’d be very happy with those changes 5 if Reid and Aish are forced. I thought Appleby showed enough and would be an unlucky out. McLarty if Moore or Grundy didn’t get up.
With Mayne and Blair my Mum said that if I have nothing nice to say about someone...
But even she agrees that shouldn’t play 1’s again.

Assuming Grundy also misses...rest Brown.
If Maynard needs a rest...then Blair gets one last chance...
Give Mayne another chance.
Give Appelby some reward.
Wells to come in for the Cats game.

Moore and Cox to ruck, go a tad smaller this week with Fasolo a marking option. Would also consider dropping Brown for another runner (not sure who though...)

Need at least the 6 changes, fresh legs are key!

GAJ did his hammy during an interstate game, and thereafter followed a lot of retrospective wisdom about the folly of taking old footballers interstate. Maybe we just want to keep him safe and sound until we play Geelong at the MCG.

Wells will be back against the cats. Should bring back adams, Moore and fasolo this week and Elliot against the cats. Blair and maybe to never ever play a senior game for Collingwood again
