In: Fasolo, Varcoe, Moore (or McLarty if not fit yet), Wells
Out: Mayne, Blair, Reid (inj), Aish (inj)

If Maynard is also out (only a corkie though apparently) bring back Langdon.

I think it's too early for Elliott and Adams based on club comments.

I think he said Elliott would be ready in two weeks, but he sounded very unenthusiastic about Wells, unfortunately.Shame really, because his kicking skills are exactly what we're missing at the moment.

Surely Wells comes in for Aish? If we don't see that it would be as daft as the Mayne and Blair selections. I can actually see Smith coming in for him instead though.

IN: Adams, Moore, Varcoe, McLarty, Langdon
OUT: Aish, Reid, Blair, Grundy, Brown

Assuming Grundy also misses...rest Brown.
If Maynard needs a rest...then Blair gets one last chance...
Give Mayne another chance.
Give Appelby some reward.
Wells to come in for the Cats game.

If Brown gets dropped before Mayne then it's a bloody disgrace.

Lol.

Blair was acceptable though not ideal to have on Sunday.

In what world does Mayne warrant an extra chance ahead of him, or any of the other 20 blokes selected? ****ing ROFL

So now...
Out: Aish, Grundy, Reid, (all inj), Maynard, Howe, Brown ( all rested)
In: Adams, Wells, McClarty, Fasolo, Langdon, Varcoe

B: Appleby Dunn Langdon
HB: Murray Sharenberg Crisp
C: Phillips, Pendlebury Sidebottom
Hf: WHE, McClarty , DeGoey
FF: Thomas Fasolo Mayne
F: Cox, Adams, Treloar
I: Varcoe, Blair, Stephenson, Wells

Not ideal having injuries, but will need fresh legs.
Besides Reid, and Aish, it seems the other injuries are just shortness, so the interstate game is a good chance to have a week off.
Hopefully it's nothing serious with Grundy, maynard Treloar (didn't know he was injured?)

I hope Grundy is fit to play because having Cox ruck all day takes away a dangerous forward who makes opposition backs panic. We will have no tall target at all.

Outs - Aish, Reid, Mayne
Ins - Varcoe, Adams, Moore

Just found out that kids get in for free to the Gabba this weekend, so it looks like I'll be taking the oldest along for his first full Pies game. The middle child is 4 and has shown no interest so far so she might miss out this time. I'll get her into the fold eventually though.

Still have 6 more months or so of living up here in Lions territory so a big Pies win would help solidify the son's brainwashing, I mean indoctrination, I mean assimilation, I mean it will further nurture his natural affection for the club.

Sounds like Grundy needs a rest with shin soreness.

In Varcoe Crocker Adams McLarty Moore Langdon
Out Reid Grundy Aish Appleby Mayne Brown

Possibly Fasolo instead of Crocker or in for Blair to make it seven changes. Appleby to stay if Maynard doesnt get up.

In reality with all these changes they probably wont drop Brown so maybe Crocker misses out anway.

Grundy and Reid both out tests our tall depth (almost zero) so I think Moore will have to play forward, tough to ask McLarty to hold down the forward line on debut.

Is Rupert Wills a chance to come in as a contested mid beast? Haven't followed him in VFL
Wills isn’t far behind Sier at all. Still building fitness but he was nearly killing blokes in the two VFL games I caught with some serious bone rattling tackles. Doesn’t look far off at all.

After DeGoey’s lame performance on Sunday I’d have either of them in instead, but will back him to bounce back.

Sier and Wills have been an awesome 2 man machine in the magoos. The senior midfield is tough to crack into though.

Good problem to have.

well these out's are going to change daily it seems...

If Grundy is sore he has to rest given his importance to the team and he will be so valuable against the Cats (Callum Sinclair dominated them on the weekend)

Moore is such a midget at 201cm...

What comments are you referring to?
Bucks in his presser said Elliott was a couple weeks off but hinted Moore and Adams were ready, could almost have played on Sunday.

Im hearing we may be forced to make up to 6 changes against Brisbane, with Reid, Aish, Maynard and Grundy injured. Stephenson and Brown are sore and will be managed! This makes for a interesting game now.
I guess we will need all hands on deck this week, so Fasolo, Moore, Adams, Varcoe, Langdon definite in's. Maybe Wells, McClarty, Sier, Wills, Mihocek, Lynch must all be a chance this week, especially if we drop Mayne and Blair as well.

Stephenson is closer to needing a rest than many people think he is. I would hope the club understand the burnout factor for first year players is prevalent in football. It's a week when he could do with a spell for a mental freshener as much as anything, especially coming off two big games in less than a week.

I fear if he plays he risks the chance of an injury and we don't want to see him on the sidelines for up to a month.

Out - Aish, Reid, Mayne, Brown, Stephenson (rested)
In - Wells, Moore, Fasolo, Adams, Langdon
