I missed out on my 10 goal thrashing last night, it was in sight but the Dees relaxed and allowed some goals through.

Not sure if Carlton can deliver a 10 goal thrashing but i am hoping, it seems to me the only thing that will lever hinkleys hands of the top job is being completely smashed on the score board and the people refusing to show up at games.

Those at the top are absolutely incorrigible and the pressure mounting on the players, supporters and members because of the mindset of the power brokers is becoming unforgivable.

Aliir in will make us a bit easier to score and McKenzie that's our back line from last year top 3 in the comp ..

Just need a way to find goals maybe butcher can cosplay as Jed ..

In aliir McKenzie Finlayson Robbie Hayes

Out Motlop Ollie Lycett and two other useless twats

OUT - McEntee, Mayes, Mead, Lycett (inj), Wines (inj)

IN - Pasini, Hayes, Finlayson, Gray, Frederick.

Really would like to drop Rozee but we just wont be able to. Really good opportunity for players in the SANFL tomorrow to have blinders and get an AFL call up.

Burgoyne was good last week same as pasini so hopefully a good game from both could get them a call up. pity Sinn is out with sore groins. Would contemplate playing Rozee off Half back like his Junior Days. is pissing me off but playing fwd pocket is a hard position the way we are playing. needs a spark.

FB - Pasini, Clurey, Jones
HB - Burton, Jonas, Rozee
W - Bonner, Boak, Houston
HF - SPP, Georgiades, Bergman
FF - Gray, Marshall, Frederick
R - Hayes, Butters, Amon
Int - Dumont, Drew, DBJ, Finlayson

Just heard about Ollie Wines' case of Myocarditis and didnt know where else to post... Assuming he will be out for the forseeable future which is absolutely shit news. Few people I know have been diagnosed with it over this last year of the pandemic and its terrifying. Hope he can make a return to footy and wishing him all the best. Absolutely brutal condition to have

So you would say 2 changes already with Lycett and Wines. Kenny doesn’t like ringing the changes so I reckon that’ll be it. Probably play small up forward, bomb it in all night and wonder why the ball keeps rebounding. Just out of interest, last night did we actually make a tackle inside 50?

Ollie will lose a lot of conditioning as he will not be exercising while recovering. We can work to his season being shot. Does anyone know if he had a Covid infection as it could cause it? Does anyone know how bad he has it? Not a nice condition to have.

Edit: can’t find anything official about Ollie having myocarditis. Is this real?

Lycett played the game out? Would assume he isn't an out?

Thanks to some short sighted selection we didn't really have an option. If Hayes or another tall had been in the side Lycett probably would have sat the rest of the game out. For a ruckman a dislocated shoulder is the last thing you need.

We appreciate your concern but how do you know it is myocarditis? The latest from the Club...

According to the PAFC the heart irregularity has resolved itself but Ollie will be under observation for a few days.

Ollie I think we can say for certain he’s out this week.
If it’s viral and he’s a racehorse from experience the virus hides while training at 95% and you think he’s going OK but the wheels fall off once you hit 100% effort and the body is completely stressed.
He might be ok in a couple of weeks but I wouldn’t be shocked if he needed an extended lay off. Could be nothing or a complete pain in the arse.

Does anyone trust Ken not to pick Finlayson as #1 ruck ahead if Hayes if Lycett is unavailable?

I would sooner he tried Finlayson than he went in with Todd Marshall as our No1 ruck. Finlayson may be a poor choice but it is not the worst option. Kenny will probably have 2016 and Jackson Trengove in the back of his mind.

Hayes has to come in but we know Ken does some strange things.

As for Ollie there seems to be a lot of speculation with little evidence. Where did myocarditis come from? The PAFC has released a statement on Ollie's situation and it does not mention myocarditis, it does mention the fact that the problem has corrected itself and that Ollie has been discharged from hospital but will be under observation for a while.

All of the information is on the Injury Update thread and the PAFC website.

If Ollie is able to train this week it is likely that he will play so I would not count him as a definite out.

He had covid at the beginning of the year. When everyone returned to training he missed the first couple of weeks.

If Alir and McKenize are available this week is it a ridiculous idea that one of them (possibly Alir) play as a forward. Both can actually mark a ball in a contest.

Let's just hope he's alright in the long run.

Bring Duursma and play the kid on the wing where he belongs, get him to gut run up and down like previously.

he was our Ed Langdon type, run up and back and helped out the backs.

another case of trying to turn someone into something they are not.

Yep it would be a panic Move IMO.

play finlayson and tell him to get on his bike and lead, same with Georgie.

come Up with a plan to move the ball into the forwards, come up with a plan for ****sake that’s what they are paid to do, short hit ups or dirty ball into the forward line.

we play the same bomb it forward way, we may not win a game

Agree. Got injured trying to win a contested ball in the back pocket ... what was he even doing there in the first place.
