Could be Sinclair.

Sinclair would be a weird sub I reckon. Can't see him having much impact in 4th quarter. Can only really play BP.
I would like to see him and Marley take the smalls (do they have any?). Or, Toovey and Sinclair take the smalls and Marley starts midfield and shuts down cripps or Murphy.
Lol... I wish.

My smokey for sub would be Crisp.

Why does White deserve a spot? Because he's tallish? Whatever happened to rewarding good form?

Jesse played like a wimp in the ressies last week and did absolutely nothing to warrant selection. So he can chop out Grundy for 5 minutes a quarter and do nothing for the rest of the game is enough to earn a game for some?

Win or lose this is a much better side than what was selected last week. It's better balanced, quicker and has more scoring capability, plus Grundy one out plays much, much better than the two rucks together have thus far managed.

Second ruck is a minor concern considering Kreuzer is hardly what you'd call a monster and I have full faith that Darcy or someone can provide a contest to give Brodie a rest or if worse comes to worse and he gets an injury.

On the other hand I don't get why the Blues dropped Yarran and Menzel (although I'm glad they have). I'd rank both as two of their more talented players and Yarran in particular can really hurt us off back flank. I think a definite message is being sent there.

Eddie should slip Yarran a contract during the game

Play Cox drop Witts. What l have seen of Cox, he can actually hold a over head mark.

Reid and Sinclair a chance with Cloke a definite in.....
Cox goes in hard too (no pun intended) - saw him crash packs and go sprawling to the ground on the other side more than once in last weeks' VFL. Don't remember ever seeing that from Wittsy (but I still think he will make it, he just doesnt' have the athleticism of Cox)

Problem is 99% of the Time Around the Ground. Cox look utterly lost

Exciting changes, I mean come on people, Ben Reid is back in for game 100! Great to see Marsh force his way in as well.

Amusing reading the debate over the ruck situation - it almost seems like the selection committee has been giving the people what they've wanted over the past few weeks by first dropping White and now Witts but that does not mean we are satisfied -When White can't take a mark, two ruckmen doesn't work and Moore's too young to pinch hit it creates quite the conundrum indeed :D

Picking Reid tells me they believe they can make finals. Otheriwise you'd be stupid to risk him for 5 games.
They are also aware that the knives are out and will be put an action if we happen to lose this game, hence the most sensible selection in yonks.

Seeing Reid out there will uplift the current general mood that is in desperate need of a boost right now too ;)

Why are people so unkind...?
I'm pretty worried about Reid being selected. Flies in the face of the super cautious policy they have had all year, following the advice from the German expert. Should really have another 2 full games in the VFL first. But if he gets through that will be great.

Awesome. So happy to see Ben Reid in. A game for the ages! Go Reidy! Likewise delighted to see Benny Sinclair in. Fast, ferocious attack on the ball, he will add much needed dynamism and chaos to what has been a very stagnant structure of late. Marsh in: awesome. Hope he will add yet more dynamism. Obviously backing in Grundy to hold his own. Will be fantastic to watch Moore and Reid together, and I can't wait until Cloke joins them as well next week.

Yarran dropped, lol Carlton.

Drop their fastest player against the slowest side in the comp.

Hopefully this takes his value down...

I might be missing something but is the ruck that important??

All they do is jump in the air.........and we are playing Carltank!

Seriously considering not going now this negativity is really scaring me o_O
Even I don't think it's such a big deal as long as Moore doesn't ruck :p

got him!

Strong first post. Welcome!

Hmm, no back up ruck i see. Mind boggles. I cant even imagine who will give grundy help.

Reid?
Marsh?

If they use moore as a back up ruck then seriously questions need to be asked. Why would u risk it and risk your only talented future key forward.

Cant help but think witts will be a late inclusion.
It's not that much of a risk. What happened for example to Fraser was the accumulated barrage of a whole season of first ruck for a skinny 1st year player, not a bad injury in a single incident. Yes he'll get some bruises but it will be great for his development to play on the ball in an AFL game.
