Don't even see the point in Goody doing press conferences. Like asking questions to a brick wall.
Yeah, in the end he didn't really say much in regards to selection, other than Viney not playing. I can absolutely understand him choosing to let the news of his inclusion wait until the rest of the teams are announced, letting it get lost in the noise, and avoiding the 13 articles about Watts returning/being on his last chance etc.

Well that's oversimplifying what was said to make it seem worse, we aren't discussing ladder position. It's discussing form.
Would you say our form is better than the crows? They lost by a little, we won by a little?
The pies ran close to two top 6 teams, we barely got over the line against 18th and another bottom 10 side. The pies form is on par with ours, if not slightly better, over the last few weeks. Simplifying it to "yeah but we won they didn't" simplifies the entire concept of form.
We play like we did last week, and the pies play like they did last week, and we will lose.

I have to admit it took a while to get over the initial shock and anger of this decision, but I've slowly reconciled it now, thank you.
While it will hurt not seeing Tomas football against Collingwood, I'm dearly awaiting the moment a fit and firing Bugg lays a knockout blow against some Sydney shitcampaigner Round 1 of finals with the entire nation watching.
Will be the perfect revenge for Mills' spectacular dive in round 15.
