AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Didn't you see Cox? Worst performance that I've ever seen in the AFL.
I think they meant 35 Supercoach points.I'm sorry, but 35 touches has to be a typo.
There can't be a level of professional, amateur or junior football in this country where Chris Mayne can get 35 disposals.
-35 supercoach points I think.I think they meant 35 Supercoach points.
I think with all that tape he had all over him he was worried about going near the ball because he'd be accused of ball tampering.I guess you didn't watch us in the late nineties!
In all seriousness , I think Varcoe was worse than Cox (much worse). He didn't get any stats for us but I thought Cox was important early in the match as he affected a number of contests. As the game went on he got worse and worse to the point of diabolical. What he did didn't come off, but at least he tried to do something.
Varcoe on the otherhand was, unfortunately not for the first time, completely absent. If he walked away from the ground three minutes in, nobody would have noticed.
I can handle players not being talented enough. It's the coaches' job to pick the team.
I can't accept highly talented and experienced campaigners being total passengers in the way that Varcoe was. It's players like him who should be driving the team on.
Even better, 35 touches in a VFL practice gameOh what basis would Mayne come in? 1 2 disposal JLT game?
Hey U I how do you get a gif in your avator?
I tried before and it came up with an error.
The problem is that Brown is not a crumber, he is an inside mid who can only handpass, you are just assuming he is a crumber because he is smallI would love to bring Sier in. He has really worked hard this pre-season and shown good form. Would much rather that than Chris Mayne.
Cal brown also needs a spot. We clearly lack crumbers, and he looked good in JLT as well.
Great response Bucks; yep, we are stuffed again this weekNathan Buckley insists Collingwood won’t lower expectations after Round 1 loss to Hawthorn

Playmaking Pies Alex Fasolo, Daniel Wells and Jamie Elliott will all miss again.
With Fasolo set to spend at least another week in the VFL and Wells and Elliott not yet near full fitness, Buckley named Chris Mayne, Jarryd Blair, Tim Broomhead and Brayden Sier as potential inclusions.
But Buckley continued to praise the forward’s positive attitude.
“He had 35 touches on the weekend, not that touches are everything,” Buckley joked, in reference to Tom Mitchell’s 54-disposal haul against the Pies last weekend.
“He had a real good impact and had a real solid pre-season. I think he’s bounced off a pretty disappointing year last year with a first class atitude, which we knew he’s always had.
“He just seems to have his legs under him a bit more, he’s covering the ground better and he’s put himself in the frame. He’ll get his opportunites.”
Asked what it meant that Mayne hadn’t been able to get a Round 1 berth despite injuries to forwards Fasolo and Elliott, Buckley said: “There’s no use going back over it.
“Our attitude to him and any other player is if we think you can help us win a game of footy you’ll play and our players understand that. Mayney has got some fantastic strengths and we’re looking forward to him bringing them to the table.”

FFS Did fasolo not do a shoulder injury? FFS a shoulder. Should be fit as. 1 vfl throw him in.Potentially Mayne Crocker Blair in our forward line.
Forfeit the game and let's plan for the Carlton game.
