The most important players for us this week are Dunkley and Treloar. Its been a long season for our side yet these two are back now and should excel from here on in. Same goes for Vanders. Missing a lot of the year is bad, yet it means they should have a lot in the tank!

One thing we did much better this week was our rotation of the Rucks. Using Young, English and a little bit of Schache in shorter bursts allowed them to really cover the ground and work Draper over.

Draper tried his heart out but by the 4th he was done, turning our vulnerability of part time Ruckmen into a strength.

Can see us doing similar to the Big O this week

Did we have a scratch match this week? Pretty shit if we can’t get any sort of run whatsoever into the 2s.

Martin probably not that necessary this week, McinErny doesn’t really worry me too much

McStay's out with concussion and with Hipwood injured, Fullarton useless, Daniher is their only tall we have to worry about.

McCarthy, Cameron, Bailey will make sure our mediums have their hands full.

I back Doc, Easton, Williams and Dale against that lot. Gardner is actually quite good on the smaller blokes as well, has the speed to go with them.

I'd assume so, you can't really do a job on Robinson so Hunter will probably just play on that wing and run off of him. Roarke is really turning himself into a useful cog this season; not a bad kick, is throwing himself into contests in the opponents D50 and is generally a one grab player.

i'd imagine so, theyres a bit of a soft underbelly to Brisbane, i would target Zorko/ Dunkley, McLuggage/Roarke, Rich/JJ, Cameron/ doc, i would also be very physical with mcInerney.
let them know early its going to be a long and physical day

McGluggage played more inside in the first final. Think we won’t tag and if someone inside is getting away from us then Dunkley goes to them.

Unchanged for mine. I don’t think Stef will be ready and Young played his role. I can see him as a Roughead style utility ruckman.

Maaaaaybe Garcia/McNeil for VDM but that’s almost change for the sake of it. Garcia doesn’t break lines like VDM and McNeil hasn’t played since Rd18.

Only change I’d make to the 23 is Scott medi-sub over JJ. Just gives us more flexibility. Potentially could be Richards but I only really like him down back, if it’s a forward role required I’d prefer Scott

Said this in another thread but we can absolutely beat the Lions. The forward line was out of whack already without Hipwood and now they’re also missing McStay. We are a red hot chance.

Was awesome seeing him jump & smash the ball forward. Would love to see more of that.

Brissy's backline can really get exploited, outside of Starcevich when the ball hits the deck they are SLOW. Nullifying Rich will go a long way to stopping their slingshot style game and curtail the impact of McCluggage, Bailey and Zorko. We have a lot of options for Charlie Cameron

A lot thought Roarke played well. Thought he tried hard but his awareness and skills are below ALF standard and some terrible turnovers, had the chance in the 3rd quarter at what looked to be critical time to snap a goal by just getting it on the boot on the those conditions no awareness took 3 to 4 steps and got caught.

A JJ or a Richards at their best offers a lot more than Roarke does at his best. However Roarke will play Bevo loves him and Gardner for there one percent actions.

Think people need to realize that Martin body is pretty cooked, Bevo not risking a bloke that might brake down half way into a game
