He does stop his Man but then He tends to Turn it back over again
You keep saying this TD but his disposal efficiency stats say otherwise.. go and check it out... going at 80% this year. Your boy Adams on the other hand..

Why the hell are you questioning N.Brown's season, he has been terrific as our fullback this year, not every player in the side needs to be attacking. He has had is best year and deserves to be high up in the copeland

I agree Brown has had a Great Season. I am not Disputing that fact

Why Langdon? He was one of our best.
I get very dubious still playing Langdon against high quality opposition especially on a small ground like the SCG. Shows a lack of intensity, seems to take a long time to make decisions and when he makes them 50% of the time they're awful. That's fine against a side like Carlton, but Sydney will eat us up.

Prime example was against Carlton in the 3rd quarter when he went back with the flight and took a chest mark (big tick one of his strengths), but then he put a high ball across with a 40m switch to a 3 on 1 situation inside 50 and Murphy ended up getting a goal. I feel he plays to processes too much and doesn't sum up the situation in the game.

Also think we have too many half backs at this present time, im taking Sinclairs speed, Maynards foot skills and toughness and Scharenberg as a like for like Langdon replacement.

Im still a Langdon fan, but think he seems to get away with a lot on this board. He will be a good player but have no confidence with him, especially against a class outfit in Sydney.

While our chances of playing finals are still alive, I would be playing the best possible side available.
That means Moore out, and White in to play the 2nd ruck position.
Hopefully Cloke is available also, so White can play as the 3rd tall to Cloke and Ried.

I'd rather see Blair in that position.

If I never see Jesse White play in the seniors again I won't be disappointed

Cloke got through training so he plays, it's out last crack at it, lose this and our finals chances fall to 0%, win it and they increase to about 20%.

So play Cloke and roll the dice, no being cautious now.

So Drop for Moore?

a fwd line of Reid (FF), Cloke (CHF) and White (3rd/RUCK) does give us the best chance of a win.

Agree with this. And the good form Fas has been in will mean he takes possibly their best medium defender, which might free Jamie up to snag a couple and get some confidence back.

Varcoe Cloke Elliott
White Reid Fasolo

Say what you want about Jesse, if he has the third best tall defender he will perform.

Anyone suggesting Nathan Brown should be dropped should be banned from this board.

Even Kennedy's three goals on him the other week, one was a Joe the Goose, and I can't remember exactly the other one but he had no say in it (on the night I remember thinking to myself how well he had played given how often it came in)

They can't train with us until January 2017. They are wasting 2 spots on the list for 12 months. Josh Thomas was a depth midfielder who always looked like he could carve up a game but didn't do it often enough (and reminded me of Judd the way he ran), Keefe was depth KPD who was nice to have while Brown and Reid were injured and he'd come along really well but 2 years is a long time in football - just watch Wayne Carey playing for Crows or Cousins for Tigers to see shadows of their former selves and they were 2 of the greats.
Thomas, granted, looks unlikely to be mroe than depth, hopefully solid depth. But Keefe has a lot of promise, was a very good defender, extremely agile and quick thinking for such a tall player and still less than 50 games I think.

Maybe a toss up whether to keep them in favour of untried rookies, but the coin is weighted by the loyalty factor. It's a cut throat business and clubs can't usually afford the luxury of showing loyalty but this is an exception - shows solidarity with the players, good for morale and I suspect says without words what they can't say publicly - that this decision was total bs and they stand by their players in this circumstance.

Are you aware that over the past 10 weeks, that is during the games against those good sides, in champion data ranking points per game Langdon is averaging almost 100. That absolutely elite for defenders. Maybe that tells you that your impression of him is just flat out wrong.

You have no confidence in him, yet he was clearly our best player in the tense second half against Freo?
You have no confidence in him yet he when we played Port he held our bumbling backline together, and won crucial one on one's defensively.

Why would we drop a gun 21yo and leave in Scharenberg and Maynard? Because they're 6 months younger?? If Tom Langdon was taken 6 in the draft I would be still rapt with his progress, he has been that good.

Brown will finish top 5 in the Copeland.

I don't disagree that he will be high up in the Copeland, but I still think we can't have 2 purely negative defensive players and Brown needs to help out his other defenders more, and try to mark the ball instead of punching it when he has the chance.
Brown has been responsible for my two biggest cringeworthy moments of the year so far, both were when he refused to come off his direct opponent allowing an easy opposition goal. One against the Hawks and one against the Dogs.

Champion data points are a load of rubbish.

Last week Kruzer vs Grundy.... Grundy had better stats for everything yet Kruzer had a higher points ranking... Go figure.

Cant say im confident, but if we can have Cloke, Reid and White up forward, as well Buddy missing out on the game, and Tippett playing alot of ruck, how arent we a decent chance to win this?

People questioning Langdon and his spot in the side.... Unbelievable.
Coming off an amazing debut season, he hasn't let up. Has had a better year and would almost be in my top 5 for the Copeland right now. Some people just have no idea sometimes

To be honest, he had some pretty average games at the start of the year, but has picked his form up since the Port game.

I'd say he's had a good consistent year. One of the few in the side who could say that. Avg 21 disposals, 5 marks
