That gives us Cloke and Reid as out two talls and Patty as our third mobile tall off of the forward flank.
Allows Greenwood to be our bull in the middle with Marley relieving him when needed. I saw it yesterday and thought he did really well.

I would also bring in Broomy if available and leave Toovey out. But I'm not sure how Broomy is tracking.

Our backline requires some experience against the Swans.
Don't be surprised if Goldsack is back for one of our youngsters.

I think our backline needs rebound, kicking skills and composure more than experience.

Footy's changed since then though. Plus we already have Brown as the low level rebounding key back we need more rebound out our others which Marsh shown he can do.

No way I would bring White in for Moore. Moore is a million times the player White is. Yeah thats correct 1 million times the player.

If we need a back up ruck then bring Witts back in. If Moore needs to be rested, which I doubt then Witts comes in for him.

Funny thing football, although we played poorly I can't see many players who "deserve" to be dropped this week.
Obviously if Cloke is good to go he must come back in. But at whose expense I don't know.

White has done not a Heap more as a Forward either.

Moore Offers more as a Forward then White

Its not that simple.

Reid offers more as a forward than Moore now that he is back.
White offers more as a ruckman than Moore.
Karnezis continues to impress as a forward in the VFL and warrants consideration.
Witts was good in the VFL.

The question is who goes out for Cloke, bearing in mind we need a second ruckman.

I would not be opposed to White coming back. Moore is a star of the future but that doesnt make him an automatic selection and I'm not sure I want him doing too much ruckwork at this age. Whilst the season is still mathematcially alive we need to pick the best team available.

I agree (it's just an option), but our best forward set up would be Cloke, Reid, then Moore or White (not both), Elliott & Fasolo, plus resting small.
No room for PK if Elliott & Fasolo playing.

Yep, would love PK to come in, but no room unless you throw Elliot or PK into the middle. PK might sneak a green vest at best.

Cloke on Channel 7 just then said he's 80/20 to play, that's good enough for me, season on the line, we just have to play one of our most important players. If he breaks down again he's got all summer to get over it.

If Adams is right to go I'd make only the one change, De Goey and Moore can run around at Vic Park together, they've played more senior games already then I expected anyway.

White or Witts unless we want Blair to be second ruck. Perhaps drop Marsh and throw Moore back? Not ideal for his development but for team balance this week it might be a good option

I know it is a compromise but I rather have White than Moore in the ruck. We have proven that just White for Moore is a no no too. Moore brings well... more but not in the ruck. We can swing Reid forward and Moore back when the situation calls for it

For this week not neccessarily longer term

White > Moore in the ruck
Reid > Moore in the forward line.

Hard to pick Moore on that basis unless you decide to pick him ahead of White as the third tall and second ruck

Cant see that myself, we just brought Reid and Marsh in finally last week. The height mix is now ok give or take a player
