OUT: Watt, Power, Jones, Thomas
IN: Carey, Longmire, Stevens, Archer

Knowing Laidley, the actual ins would be Stefan Carey, Frank Longmire, Mark Stevens and Jeffrey Archer.

Dear Watt haters - he was FAR from the worst.

And in fact, for two quarters he was the only player on the backline even remotely interested in tackling.

I'm not entirely sure if we played a midfield tonight, if so, I'd like to wish them a friendly cheerio. Enjoy your time in the 2s next week.

Out: Thomas, Power.

In: Wells, Je. Smith, Davies.

Pay the fine and play with the extra man on the field. (not sure who comes out for Davies but I want his pace against Geelong. Watt has a matchup in this match so he stays).

Power has been hard done by on here but has to come out for the quality coming in.

What I think will happen:

Out: Urquhart/Lower, Thomas.
In: Wells, Je. Smith. (Davies if one is injured).

I think we should drop Gavan as he wasn't listed in the bests when he played in the twos, and therefore doesn't deserve his spot in the first place...

Anyway.

Thomas is a definite out for mine - I'll concede the midfield made it ____ing shit for the forwards, but some of Thomas' stuff was pants, Campbell managed to nail 3 from ____ing appauling delivery. Needs a Wellsy rocket pronto.

Ross in for Thomas.

I'd go a lot further than that, including a massive ____ing burst for Corey Jones, but we just cannot drop/rest him.

If we had no injuries Grant and Jones would have to be very close to being dropped, and Harro deserves a massive rocket as well.

As it is unfortunately.

Out: Thomas
In: Ross

People calling for Power and Watt to be dropped are fooling themselves, neither were close to our worst tonight.

Pratt, Watt, Jones, Power, Thomas and Thompson should all be dropped.

Oh FFS. Watt had one error but otherwise was bloody good. And arguably the error was a handpass anyway, but hey, I'm not going to argue with a prematurely balding umpire. Pratt did a very good job in the face of relentless pressure from the Brisbane midfield, who appeared to be utterly unmarked for the first half. Drop him if you like - but North would lose to me and the kids at that point.

And I presume you're criticising Thomas for mishandling the ball (under extreme pressure) and Thompson for not getting it (from aforementioned non-existent midfield)

I'm starting to think otherwise. Maybe a week in the VFL might be the rocket he needs.

Yeah, our midfield was to blame tonight for sure. The ball just didn't get in the forward line enough or well enough.

We can afford to drop very little as we have no one to come in and play.

OUT: Power, Thomas
IN: Davies, Ross

Thomas at least tried tonight. His disposal was shithouse but at least he worked hard. Can't say a lot for other players.

Don't defend Power, he was and is shithouse.
