Regardless they are in good form and dangerous right now

We are playing them at the wrong time seems they have got it together

We can't even use Lobb playing his old side to pump up the match, although he did kick 2 goals against them at Manuka earlier this year and won 12 hit outs.

Maybe have Tom Boyd toss the coin - wearing his GF jumper and medal?!

Not sure what that has to do with my post.

I didn't say they should be easy beats or anything.

The "why not us" was Beveridge's slogan.

They're playing pretty well, but they are also relying on Kung Fu Green to do a lot of the damage.

They've only played in Ballarat once in the COVID years in 2021 and lost to GC

I would love to see Sweet get a crack this week, just to mix it up
Wild and wooly suburban-like game, Balllarat, against Briggs.
Give Lobb another week or two in the reserves. He was dropped for a reason lets not forget how average he was playing.

Sweet could be subbed off before 3/4 time for extra run.

Understand and I wasn't directly responded to your post.

Was more that they are playing well enough to believe "why not us". They seem to have turned it around

Hopefully we put an end to that or a good dint in it.

Well Green is the one. Limit his influence a bit and the dogs really should win

Forget all the namby-pambying this week.

Opening bounce:
Sweet lines up opposite Briggs.
Other attendees for the initial bounce: Lobb, English and Naughton.

Bont to stand next to Haynes for the opening bounce, and ask him if he's still captain, as he didn't notice him at the coin toss the last few years.

Keath to stand Greene, and tread on his toes repeatedly each time he moves. And keep doing it until Greene loses his sh*t and gets reported.

Also, as GWS coaches are making their way up the stairs in the main stand pre-game, Spangher to block their path adopting a power stance.

After this, a scoreline of more goals than points, and a healthy winning margin, would be handy.

We're also on a five game winning streak against these degenerates, so need to keep that going.

Other than that, I'm sure Bevo has war-gamed every possible scenario this week, so I'm supremely confident.

Keith reminds me of a St Kilda recruit in the 80s.
Mark Kellet wore number 3.
Just used to get ball run through centre square and unload to Beaslley or Edmond at full forward.
He invented the Martin fend off.
If he went sideways or handballed .It went pear shape.
And the coach would drag him.
Keith should have the same instructions. Keep it simple and risk free. How many turn overs ?Versus how many goal assists from his sideways kicks and handballs.?
Just kick it long forward to a contest is his best advice.

And never ever ever kick off one step
“Keep it simple stupid “ is good advice
for Keathy at this stage of his career.

But good on him getting another contract, been very good for the club 👍

Lobb has been hypnotised to think it is a contract year, look out.

When they make these in our club colours ... I'll think about it.

I’m happy Lobb is back in. He wasn’t as bad as the media said before he was dropped, he wasn’t great but just need to consistently compete. He has allowed Tim to be the best ruckman in the game, and we remain competitive in ruck contests when Tim is resting, Buku was never going to be the answer with that.

I'm thinking ... thinking ...

... naah, too far to drive to Ballarat. Thanks anyway Norm.

But you might want to suggest this to the WB merchandising department. Could be a real winner.

"Comes in three handy sizes - L, XL and OMG"
Im sure that any potential purchasers will relate to the blue balls.

West back to sub, it’s an absolute joke the way this coach treats West. I’m sure the coach doesn’t like winning games. West sets up goals every week, kicked a crumbing goal last week off the pack, our forwards get crumbing goals about twice a season
Who is he in the 22 ahead of?
