Well it was pretty obvious in the SANFL last week that Hayes was sick, and we probably would've had to sub him out against Gold Coast if he had played.

We picked a ruck against Sydney the week before that. He just happened to bust his shoulder in the second quarter.

Seems a bit like someone who just needs better players around him. A bit off early on but got much better as the game progressed. Much better than any game he's played in the SANFL this year.

Technically Lycett has been through the SANFL

I mean he appeared at Prospect Oval at some stage on Saturday, not ragging on Scooter, but it will be enough evidence for kernel finkley to justify selection
