Watching a replay of the Boomerangs vs World teams at the moment, golly gosh there's some talent amongst those boys - dash and candy galore.

Further to that, it was interesting that the stand rule, as well as a few others, didn't apply. Hopefully, it is a sign that this abortion of a rule will be scrapped.
The game was far more enjoyable to watch.

Argh ….. that would be Claremont’s Jack Buller 198 cm KPF, without checking I think about 21/22.
Has had a history of back injuries.

Very handy WAFL player however he doesn’t possess the agility or speed that would be needed at the next level, plus for a KPF his accuracy at goal is average.

His kicking action is actually one of his strengths, and given he could have won the GF off his own boot (heard he would of taken out the Simpson medal had Claremont got over the line), he's definitely worth a train on with the club. Will Schofield thinks the club should be looking at him.

I beg to differ.

He certainly did have opportunities to win the game for Claremont.
I was there watching it and he was disappointing when he needed to kick the important goals…..he didn’t …. Being able to handle pressure moments is required from an AFL KPF.

I don’t know who you heard that he would have won the Simpson Medal had Claremont won, but IMO his game was several levels lower in importance than what Bolton put in.

I have no objection to him being offered a train on spot, I just don’t think that he will make it…. I would be thrilled for him if he proves me wrong.

We do seem keen to throw #2 away.

8, 12 and a future 2nd and future 3rd (noting we are giving Rioli up as well) is really not a great deal.

It's an OK deal, fair even, but surely for our first top 3 selection in over a decade we want better than fair.

I'm VERY big on one touch players so you know which way I'd be going.

Ohh, I love both...
But Hollands, as I think he's the better footballer and his two way running combined with 2nd, 3rd efforts. He's equally good inside as out too.

I'd be very happy with either.

Agree with Suns taking Hollands with first pick. However I would propose that the Suns play their Bowes dump differently.

Give Geelong Bowes and 5 in return for Cats future R1. Why?

Cats pretty much guaranteed of Clark at 5
Suns will get Hollands at 7
Hawks don’t need Hollands type and they are at 6 but might be tempted with Clark
Cats F1 likely to be around 16 to 18. They have sold their F2 to Lions already and AFL won’t sign the Bowes deal off until suitable value goes back

Cats are amassing enough former first rounders so young talent is not an issue

They can't trade their F1. They have already traded their F2 & F4 to Brisbane.
