We've been courting a loss like this for a while now and getting away with almost ridiculous comebacks or just falling over the line with the other team coming at us hard to win games.

All it would have taken for any of those games is the other team to take one or two more of their chances and a W turns into an L and that is what appears to have happened tonight, Carlton took their chances and got the extra couple of goals they needed early to stifle any potential comeback.

Definitely a worrying sign as going in I'd have said we're clearly a step above the scum, but we've been piss poor again for way too long in the game and it had to catch up with us some time.

Have no doubt we are not secure in a top 2 spot yet either if we keep putting the sort of rubbish football we've put up tonight finishing up against 3 teams in Geelong, Brisbane and Essendon who may, for one reason or another, all have the "more to play for" that I've seen a few mention here on the board tonight.
