When there was talk about trading a future first last year WCE_phil suggested this year would be the year to trade a future first. Think he also said the AFL were looking into being able to trade picks 2 years in advance?

He'll be out of contract at the end of next year. That instantly reduces his value.

There's no real point speciualting though until the second half of next year when he'll either have signed an extensoin or be sitting there inviting speculation.

Probably far more gettable if Sydney win the flag this year also.

Next year when he's out of contract. Yes it'll cost 2 first rounders, but a deal will get done if he wants to come home.

I think he can rotate off HFF and inside mid at AFL level. Id want but not at a hefty price.

This is one where id bully Swans into a pick upgrade type deal.

Option 1

Trade pick 4, F2 for Warner but not going to happen

Option 2

Split pick 4 to GC (currently 9 and 12)
Trade F1 for Freo pick 8.
Trade F2 for Buss
Trade 23 for Baker
Trade 59 for Collard

That would leave 8,9,12, Barker, Buss and Collard

Sam Taylor will be a FA next year so won’t require picks (there’s no way GWS could financially match the offers he’ll receive) and if he did it would be infinitely more than what Buss would cost.

With GWS looking flaky again, throw the world at him as yesterday proved 2 quality KPD's (and a 19 yr old kid) can win games against good sides.

Total of deal around $2.7 million.There's an offer from West Coast, but significantly less money - with a lot of game/award triggers - and only 2 years.Lot to weight up for Yeo. Still a good chance he remains at Eagles beyond 2024, but no certainty.

Its up to others to push the offer up to that 3 year 3. odd million to activate Band 1 after that

He is deadset loaded financially. He is as setup as a AFL player is going to be.
