I think Ginbey will end up at HB

Rotham is fine and I remain a believer. He's such a lovely user and if he can stick to a limited role of closing down his man, helping the talls and using it well out of defense he should get a contract.

Look at Carlton and Geelong. Some great players across every line but they've also got some pretty good average players who simply play their role.

I've noticed rotham moving the ball on much quicker this season .

It also helps he not being put on a larger opponent. He is not a key defender .

He is better off playing on smaller opposition who he has an aerial advantage over but still keeps up at ground level

Only two locks for 2024 should be Gaff and Jones at the moment.

We're also not going to be retiring McGovern, delisting Harry Edwards and Jamison in the space of two years.

Harry Edwards and witherden are just too slow to ever be good afl defenders .

Jamo whilst not being experienced has the athleticism to be a good key defender .
Thought jamo has been quite good this year .

Agree with this.

Assuming we draft a mid this year Smith or Draper will end up with a midfield of Reid/Hewett/Hall/Draper with Ginbey playing a Jack Crisp HB/mid role by 2027.

In the WC highlights I've seen he just always seems to be hanging around the edges of the packs, has he been getting in there using all the muscle that was talked up in the preseason?

Realistically, everyone knows our list is very top and bottom heavy, but little talent in the middle (23-28 y/o).
Baker and English fit this age profile perfectly and should be Priority One and Two as free agents.
All of a sudden our list looks top 8 quality with those two additions.

Goes on match ups, effecting oppo, what happens after your disposal, most handballs from ginbey went to reid and yeo. hard ball and lose ball gets are big stat in it
