Travel is becoming a greater issue for players nowdays. Being Melb based is much easier.

The secret is in selling the vision of being part of a new group & making your own spot within it.

There's a lot of discussions that have taken place that WC won't know the results of for a while.
First of all players take time for things to sink in.
Second - many are away or want to get away from footy for a while. Whilst for others they didn't want to think about things like changes of clubs till the footy finished which was today

You mentioned conversations always happening, but in general things are ramping up now. I preface, this is not a criticism of the club, but I can’t help but notice other clubs seem to have players ‘locked in’ early (eg McStay, Hopper, Taranto) despite teams still playing in finals. Do we tend to wait until post season for these serious conversations, or is it a matter of keeping our cards close to our chest? If the former, does getting in late mean that we miss out on players?

I need convincing, I have a third round grade on him.
Whats the attraction and where do you see him playing at the next level ?

Keeler is the ultimate tease, TBH I am not sure just where to slot him in draft order, so much I like about him and so much that worries me.

I honestly hope we arnt in the frame for jackson.

Will cost too much and the priority should be quality midfielders with high picks.

We should be looking to trade in rucks from other clubs as generally you only need a half decent ruck to win a premiership.

Kobe ryan is more of a positional need for us with our last pick . That pick 26 will end up about pick 30 . We need a running defender with a good kick . He is quick and takes the game on . I would prefer cowan but I think he will be gone .

Keeler could be the next paddy ryder . He is a great mark and good below his knees . We develop talls well

I would rather pick 20 cowan pick 26 keeler but I don't think keeler will get past Adelaide 2nd rounder
