In 2 hours, I am hoping to learn that we have a couple of Victorians on our list in Hayes and Burgiel.

Hayes brother has shown he can stay in Adelaide - Eastern Ranges are not your typical mummy's boys.

Coby Burgiel is from Gippsland Power so should not be a flight risk.

A tall. A speedy balanced mid.

Save the ruck until next year. Edwards is an option early but there looks like a good cohort and we can always go a Knobles or Broadbent this year late.

I see our team of mids in Hewett, Culley, Hough and potentially Burgiel all be able to play midfield and half forward so more flexibility as Simmo likes.

Come on Pieman, make it happen. Cover yourself in glory.

If all clubs stay in the same position as this year the draft would look like the image below. Provisional 2023 AFL Draft Order - Draftguru

Next year Brisbane, Port Adelaide and Richmond have a crap haul and Geelong has only it's first round pick and pick 92. Could probably pick up Dev Robertson for pick 40 next year. ;) Possibly Georgiadis for pick 27.

Here are what I believe are the 2023 picks that each club is now holding.
Don’t know if this has been discussed haven’t had time to keep up

Would the smart play be if GWS don’t bid on Davey that we trade with Essendon.
Tell them we will bid on Davey or give us
Pick 25 and there future 2nd
We give them Pick 20 and our Future 3rd

Win for both clubs they get pick 20, Davey and a future 3rd

We get a future 2nd for sliding back a few spots. Thoughts ?

Edit: maybe even ports future 3rd rather than ours

Anybody told Nicnat?
Well hes supposedly come back to training with less weight than he finished the season.Gotta be a good start.
-Congrats to WC they have killed this draft so far both with the pick swap and selections.
-Looked at Wardlows highlight and hes very hard at the ball but hes not that big and that explosiveness is not doing his hammys any good at all.Ginbey is bigger;faster and just as aggressive.
Well done WC all is well with the world.

Best 22 thoughts? (on what we have drafted so far)

B: Hurn, Barass, Cole
HB: Yeo, McGovern, Duggan
C: Gaff, Kelly, Hough
HF: Hewett, Darling, Cripps
F: Ryan, Allen, Petrucelle

Foll: NN, Shuey, Culley

Bench: Ginbey, Rotham, B. Williams, Chesser
Sub: Waterman

Add someone like Charlie Clark instead on Petrucelle maybe?

Still have the likes of Jones, Clark, Foley, XON, Witho, SPS, Bazzo, West and L. Edwards.

Starting to look a little better, especially if B. Williams can develop into a good ruckman with fwd craft.
You forgot Helen hunt

I think after last year's draft and last nights draft, we can put a little faith in the recruiting team to go ok tonight.
Nek minute it’s Broadbent at 20 and Steely Greene at 26

Well if he had something out of his knee that would be it
