You are overrating Sheldrick. Him not getting a game at Sydney has nothing to do with his maturity - it has everything to do with his ability

Maybe I am I did really like him pre draft but he is putting up better VFL numbers than xon , west , culley , trew and on par with clarke on wafl numbers .

So guys like sheldrik and Deven Robertson are upgrades in that 20 - 30 players but in a much more desirable age bracket going forward

Keeping higher picks for the draft but using later picks on young guys who can't crack contending teams is a solid rebuild strategy

To make it even better the dockers pick they sent to them last year melbourne picked Jefferson a key forward who already has a bag of 4 and 3 in the VFL with Casey

I agree with your logic - I disagree with the name. Angus excelled a few years back as he was stronger than his peers. Playing against men is a different game & IMO he doesn't have that extra skill that will enable him to take that next step.

Only 2 first rounders haven't from 2021 draft Hobbs and sheldrik ?

With the lack of inside mids available this draft and swans not playing Angus we should be in his ear

I guess I can live with a pick in the 40's. I do however think there is a whiff of Mcginnity v Cotchin about that match you refer to with Horn-Francis. Angus had built himself up for that match but no denying he played well.

Nah he was very much a tweener. He doesn’t show he has great forward craft and always been terrible in front. His athleticism and speed make a him a decent resting ruck up forward tho

If he comes cheap then yeah do it. That said we have Waterman in the side and we also now need plan to find/blood a second genuine key forward into the team. Georgiades is good/talented to be in the b22 but he isn’t a key tall

He would seriously entice freo but they’re at danger of having too many tweeners. Tabs is dud, corbett/ treacy both look like tweeners and Amiss very much gonna be in that category unless he develops a few parts into his game
