Our recruiter never gives anything away in Twomey’s interviews. He’ll only ever mention players that are already being spoken about in the media, and sticks to the media rankings of players.

Having attended the Lions draft function last year, and heard from previous draft functions, our in-house rankings are always significantly different from the media rankings.

Suggestion from the Suns board. Willie plus our 2023 3rd for the Suns 2022 2nd (26) plus the Pies 2022 3rd (50ish) they also hold.

Would give us three 2nds and two 3rds this year to use or upgrade further. I'd take that.

I'd much rather keep him, he's got huge value to our team. He wins the 50/50 ball almost 100% of the time, and then always uses it well.

But if he had to go, yeah I'd be looking at other options as I don't think the bombers would be offering much and would try low ball.

I don't mind getting key forward Cadman. Not really impressed much with the midfield depth of this draft.
Seen a few games of Cadman and was impressed. Will be a gun key forward. Giving the the draft this year is pretty average Cadman would be a good get for our first. Plus I'm not convinced in our forwardline. Darling isnt consistent. Allen is injury prone and Waterman isn't a key forward.

key forward is needed and are not easily to get so might aswell.

Use next year's top pick on a quality Midfield.

Isn't it logical that if Willie was considering a move, he would go to a Melbourne club because there are two Riolis there already? And particularly Richmond, which does have an excellent indigenous development and support program, by all accounts.

We stood by him and if he leaves we hopefully get something for doing the right thing and for our efforts, 6he enjoys playing a couple more years.

We wont be contending so both parties move on to the next chapter.
