If he can't even make a reserves team that pick for him is looking more and more like a 3rd rounder at best.

Sounds like he has told them he wants out.

That is what happens when you dont get a decent go and the old blokes who do aren't performing.

Lets hope he is heading our way. Would be very nice having Culley and Robertson come in together with a Phillipou and Chesser round 1 next year. Four young mids with spring in their step and a bit of hunger.

Starting to warm the idea of drafting Tstas, good build, has good kick and pace.

Only knock is his defensive efforts, but he seems to have a good tank to work on that.

Curious to see how he plays in that Vic metro vs Vic country game next month.

But he was putting up 43 and 3 goal games at TAC level, he got a lot of footy in the inside too.

That's being a bit unfair to the bogans I would have thought

Not really.

Must be something about the colours Black and red when combined.

Oh and this is my favourite  the Essendon Bogan trying
to string together a few sentences to explain to the many
Collingwood supporters on the train home after the game,
why they were screwed over by the Umpires and thats why
the Bummers lost the game.

I can see us drafting him. Similar to how the Cats traded up to draft Holmes a couple years ago on a needs basis to add two-way running and pace. Tsatas could potentially offer something similar with more upside.

Alternatively we could draft a Phillipou/Wardlaw with our first and target an elite runner with our second rounder.

It depends how the recruiters and coaches view our midfield, whether contested ball or run and pace is the priority and what combination gets us the two most talented kids etc.. Tsatas/Gibney or Wardlaw/Kobe Ryan.

Tsatas probably begins and ends as a really good winger. If he can get that contested side of his game good then he will end up as the best player in this years pool but that's highly unlikely.
A bit like Gaff, can go into the contest but is better doing his own thing on the outside. Id say we have the future wings earmarked for Chesser & Hough with others that can go through there as well.
However its a very west coast pick-> Tall with running power and upside.

Agree to an extent. His clearance game is apparently quite good, seems like his tackling and defensive efforts need a bit of work. Chesser and Hough are a good start but we need more run still.

Think Jack Macrae, not the guy to carry the contested burden but still will be involved offensively.

He will likely be there around pick 5 so splitting 1 or 2 with the Crows or GWS would work.

Getting Robertson and Culley addresses inside mids, Tstas as a balanced mid. Chesser also balanced.

If we could get a later 1st with the split that would get Hotton.

Still leaves 20 and 26 on best available.

Will be seriously pissed if he leaves despite the club standing by him through all his s**t.

Of course his offer should be lower than what he's worth - we paid him to not play for 2 years. Had sympathy for him throughout the saga but it's time for him to repay us.
Strongly agree. If he leaves then he is an absolute Dog.

I refuse to class Chesser as a balanced mid until he shows that's his best fit at AFL and not as an attacking HBF like he was most of his time as a junior.

Tsatas has two weaknesses, yes people have mentioned his defensive game. It's not horrendous btw. However his kicking whilst at speed and under pressure is very suspect. Im telling everyone here he is the closest i've seen in a player to Polec as a junior. It's uncanny. Also if we want a classy outside mid he's already on our list and most people want him delisted. His name is Winder. Play him in the midfield and he produces. What a ****ing surprise west coast. It only took you almost 2 years to work it out.

Wrong Phill - Phil with the single L is a different poster

I haven't made any post in regards to Rioli.

I literally have a 1 year deal working as a scout for a Melbourne based side that isn't Essendon with the option of that becoming full time next year. However i'm highly likely retiring to run my business interests in SE asia.

Oh and so people know and because its a running joke. This is Siquijor island. Not where my former work associate has been surfing with his friends for 20 years and whoring in perth. However it is interesting where translated in english with a Filipino accent it is pronounced 'sicky whore' island. I have since found out the islands where he goes though, my younger cousin just got back from a working holiday in Indo as a surf group instructor running tours daily. I'll see if i can get some of the photos but whilst there Kelly Slater rocked up as well as an entourage of friends and camera guys from Carve magazine in the US. Photo should be on the cover of either this coming or the month after. He's my cousins idol and was a full fanboy about it and literally describes him as 'probably the greatest athlete of all time' which in regards to his sport he is on 11 world titles with Aussie Mark Richards in second place with 5 the next most successful if you count his world pro-am championship as well. (some don't). The bradman of surfing really.

The dynamics will change if we add a Robertson alongside Yeo ,Sheed and Culley perhaps we look for a balanced mid in Hewitt or extra zinge with Tsatas or do we add 196 cm Cadman as he projects to be a JK replacement ..
