Rumours are narkle will probably not be able to be offered a contract with geelong getting Cameron, Higgins and re- signing parfit and touhy .

Langdon should be a future 4th rounder.

We keep our 2nd rounder and somehow upgrade one of our 3rds

I am serious, a massive trade is in mind. Will probably not happen but if West Coast got Nat Fyfe it would have to propel your premiership prospects I think

I have seen him at CHF - it wasnt pretty. He must address his weaknesses if he is to play key, more a thrird tall to my mind.

Dunno, its what West Coast thinks but more importantly what Freo would want and I am not sure what their demands would be. I have no feel for any resistance I am just throwing it out there to get a vibe, sense of elasticity, nothing more, no harm intended

I am speculating. I just get the feeling Freo is up to chase some big targets in the next few years with or without Fyfe, such is the climate and league movements and who knows whats going to go down because some on the east coast wish to shake things up in their favour I think.

I like the way you write. It sets ones self a challenge or a riddle if you must.

Not sure its that simple. It might be a case of GWS wanting a stack of late picks for points for academy picks so us just stacking up late picks to give to them for Langdon perhaps? so maybe we move on a future 4th rounder to get all those picks to give to GWS for Langdon so we can keep our current 2 picks as is

This is likely accurate but I sense the likelihood of another wasted year ahead.

Williams should be given a run at second ruck from the get go next season (as he should this year in my opinion). No more Allen in the ruck, he should be permanent forward.

That will mean the side is unbalanced until Kennedy retires, and even then Brander is simply being wasted on the sidelines.

The make up of the list just isn’t quite right, largely due to drafting decisions.

The list is not unbalanced because we were stunned to see Allen still available at 21 and took him. A list is 40 players.

It isn't a bad problem to have, to many decent tall's gunning for a game.

It was actually Jarrad Branders availability that stunned us. We took him as we had him as pick 4 in our mock drafts, then took Allen because thats who we actually wanted with pick 15 and he was still around

We moved the goalposts to get Brander as opposed to Allen pretty much

Well I am now getting interested.

Also read last night that Gold Coast will likely only use one live pick due to the mountain of nga / zone picks they are using that will cost no picks at all.

Straight away I went and looked and GC picks 24 and 33 are the two on the table. If we ended up with picks 24 + 29 + 33 + 49 and 53 that is a seriously useful hand full of picks / points to use to trade into the 1st round with if we want to.

Sure 24 will slide but at some point clubs will be burning up 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks on bids for single players.

What will it take? Our future 2nd and 3rd is pretty much all we can offer as GC do not want or need 2020 picks.......unless a player gets involved.
