I don’t get the Norwood Oval hate. Sure, it’s not the perfect viewing experience like a modern stadium is, but is that not the whole point? You get to experience that old school feel and atmosphere and still have the top level players playing? Can’t have your cake and eat it too.

TBH it's a great oval for fans. It's small so you're close to the play, but that does come with a lack of space. No SANFL ground is perfect but the surrounds and location of Norwood, Glenelg and Unley make up for any small issues within the venue

Personal opinion but a grass mound is better than asphalt

Should be bulldozed and replaced by a townhouse community. SANFL back to a 9 team comp. Remove Gerry McIntosh from the records, kill it all off.

I loved my late teens and early 20s down the parade. I just want more people to experience what is on offer.

Not in those days my friend. Even now, as an early 50s couple, we were in and out of theat scene within a few years. That said, the odd night does present itself and who are we to decline.
