Toast CROWS get their man Don Pyke named Adelaide coach

Being Australia, everyone is entitled to their four weeks annual leave. It's not as though there'll ever be a better time for a head coach to have a break than immediately after the season.

A little bit inconvenient for us that Pykey was involved in the AFL season for two weeks longer than the rest of our club, but much better for all concerned that he gets time to charge the batteries before launching in to what will hopefully be a huge 2016.

How dare he take his entitlements.

I'm totally indifferent about Akermanis coming to the club, deep down I think he might be more trouble than he's worth.

If this was the Port board though it would be full of this sort of nonsense ....."OMG that Brisbane guy Ackarmarnus wants to come here, but not our crosstown rivals"

#destinationclub
Cos Vossy has worked out well for them.

Any success next year will be attributed to Bass being there.

Do you think he will make it Bicks?
Don't know but towards the end of the season he seemed to me to be well in front of Ramsay, and everything I've ever read or seen in his U18 Champs his kicking is elite so he gets another year, also he was drafted not a rookie so that also puts him in front of Ramsay??

Ramsay is a KP or third tall though.

We have a heap of attacking half backs now with great pace and very good kicks. Wigg lacks size and pace and whenever I see his so called great kick he seems to shank it. Just can't see him playing for us medium term or having the weapons.

Very early so I could be very wrong but easier to tell early with smalls.

Gordon ran out of gas. His last 3 or 4 weeks, he was stuffed. He will get a second year.

I don't think you can compare the 2 players. Wigg has zero chance at getting delisted and if he is, he will get re-drafted well before any rookie draft.

I haven't seen much of Wigg but given we risked Lever to improve our second round pick and picked up Wigg, delisting him after one year would be pretty embarrassing.

It won't be a young draftee, it will be a player who has been around for a while. Mackay would be ideal as they know what he offers and that's sweet fa. But with 3 years left that is a ballsy move.

How many years has Jaensch have left? Given his form off field I could see him going.

Having said that I believe it will be only 1 player and that's Wright.

Oh god, now you have done it.

Wigg is still skinny but already kicks the ball a mile and does it accurately.

A few people making shit up to suit themselves here but that's nothing unusual I suppose.

I don't believe we will delist anyone who another club would snap up. Agree that I doubt it will be a young player like wigg.

More likely to be someone like mackay, where unlikely another club would match his contract, so we just re-rookie.

The exception may be mj if he really pissed of the club, but I hope not.

Cheney is probably surplus to needs considering we have Lever, Shaw and Otten. Had a solid season and has nearly as many years as dmac left on his contract so won't be him either.

I can't see is delisting Mackay with 3 years left. I think it will be only Wigg
