Yes, but unless players are locked away in isolation and not given news of the opposition (hmm... wonder if they'd go for that?), they can come to the same view of confidence.
I'm rarely this confident about a Crows game. As I said earlier in the thread even if Freo refind some of the confidence they had last year, they've been decimated by injuries.
I imagine they'll go ultra defensive and try smother the contest. I'm confident our game plan won't collapse.
Plus the team will really lift for a superstar of the club's 150th!
I can imagine Ross going back to his uber-defensive-boringasbatshyt game style. Try to get lower scores than the Roos and Bulldogs I am watching right now
If Freo do choke it up and go ultra defensive then fine, good chance for us to overcome it and alter things if we need to etc. We need to go all day and win. By plenty.

So is the high scoring, entertaining football finished? Coaches needed 5 weeks to figure it out?
Nah, I just think the skill level of both sides tonight was atrocious. Sure it was partly pressure but a lot of it was just plain ol shite.
A good skill level would've dramatically upped the scores.

Like a lot of people I'm nervous, not because of any lack of trust in this team. They've showed enough to suggest they are not the same Crows of the last few years. 6 of the next 7 games following this week are against teams above us on the ladder, need to bank these 4 points.

Both Thursday and Today were wet early but the rain and most of the cloud was gone by 12ish
Not game related but disappointed the club hasn't cancelled the kick and a catch after the game. Makes no sense to go ahead with it given there is a A League final the next day.

Funny how last year I was awaiting this game with so much anticipation...Fyfe v Danger.....Now I am waiting for this game only because the missus said she would make her homemade sausage rolls for lunch!!

I had to get Foxtel just to watch crows games up here in qld or else it's just twice a year when they face off against the lions or Suns

I hate being so heavily favorites in this game ......would make anything other than a convincing win an absolute disaster .....and lead to a real bummer of a weekend
