No McKercher for Tassie, he's injured probably for the remainder of the season.

Hey Davo,
Just wondering where you think Dew Jiath will drop in the draft!
Cal Twomey seems confident that there are clubs keen on him before pick 40?

I think anywhere from 30-rookie, there's a chance someone takes him before he is NGA eligible, he can play footy, a bit raw and uncontested, but clever with disposal, tall, lacks the speed of CJ, but a decent hbf prospect.

Lachlan Smith for Gippsland is playing great footy in the quarter final, a smokey could be Liam Serong, playing a good game so far, Ollington playing well on Tew Jiath, but it's a good contest, Liam Serong doing well on Schoenmaker, Schoenmaker has had a few too many turnovers out of defense this quarter, Zane Duursma being held quiet, seems to have a tag, Willem Duursma getting a final early in his development.

I will edit this post and add more later.

Riley Weatherill with 2 bags in 2 finals, combine invite, could be an interesting option for clubs wanting a 195cm KPF?

Oakleigh have struggled with draft age talent this year, but their underagers should be stronger for the run next year.

Great game between Falcons and Rebels today. High pressure finals footy. Falcons were solid. Hughes and Murray were strong. Rudd dominated first half with contested marking. Pike strong. Tassie
next week? Strong enough?

Like this lad, his Coates year is on par with Morris & Caddy if not better and now stands up in finals. Hopefully he finds himself on a list.

No Jacob Grant? Played ok in the last carnival game and his last game in the Coates was pretty good as well. Just played in a senior premiership on the weekend.

He is an interesting case, he had 1 good game at the champs, but throughout the season has been a structural player kicking 12 goals in 13 games for Dandenong, he is an awkward height at 191cm, now at that height as a kpp you need something special like Charlie Curnow or Darcy Fogarty ect, im not sure he has that consistently enough, kpp are hard to find and a club may be willing to give him an opportunity late in the draft, but it depends on how many picks clubs have and if they are interested in taking that risk?

He would be 1 that I would add to "there's a chance" category, but no guarantee.

You seriously can’t be putting Charlie Curnow and Darcy Fogarty in the same category?

Except for a few players, the u17 futures game on grand final day with the best 46 prospects for next year at this stage, is basically my list for the 2024 draft :D

Ricky Mentha from NT/Gippsland Power looked good in the finals series this year for Gipps

My Ego is getting out of control

Hey Davo

Quick question. Is Charlie Naish likely to be drafted or will he make it to the rookie draft? Or not at all.
I'm not sure, in the mid season bigfooty Phantom draft I was tossing up between a few with one of my late picks, I ended up settling with Naish, since then he missed VM selection and didn't really do well at CTL level, also didn't get a combine invite so chances are low.

Funny story, I had actually filled out the selection with Tarkyn O'Leary but Changed my mind and edited it since it was after midnight and likely no one was on, I should have stayed with Tarkyn with the late pick in the BF Phantom oh well.

1st quarter in the Tassie v Eastern game, not much in it, good quality game, Schoenmaker with a long goal, Weatherill looking good again, also kicking a long goal, Watson showing some pace but inaccurate, Leake has kicked 16.2 in the last few weeks, also kicking a nice snap goal, beautiful sunny conditions, oh and Kevin Sheehan thinks every kid will be a star, he's being doing the same commentary for 3 decades lol
