Off the top of my head, Van Berlin got hit by a sled, and Brad Symes broke both wrists falling off a golf cart driven by...

Patrick ******* Dangerfield
Is that why we traded him for unders...

I wouldn't wish injury on anybody (I've dealt with it myself) but I do find the general level of overt grief shown toward injured athletes who couldn't care less about you that are also getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to do rehab to be a tad over the top. For the vast majority of the earth's population, life is much worse.

And Geelong beat Richmond in Geelong in the last minor round game.

And West Coast beat Collingwood at the G in the minor round.

Is this type of post an example of your well thought out debating?

West Coast were clearly better than the Pies whereas Richmond weren’t clearly better than Geelong or us. Had they played Geelong in Geelong they would have lost and then again to us in the Prelim.

Do you want to have a reasonable debate or continue to throw in your personal jibes?

You are making assumptions on what had taken place in the H&A season translating through finals. Never seen a side win every game throughout the year.

One could also make a case that interstate sides, such as the Crows, WC etc have a distinct advantage during the H&A season, allowing them a better chance of making finals

Tigers in 2017 won all of their finals convincingly, would be different if those finals were tight affairs

Do I want to have a debate with you? What do you think?

I honestly took some codine/paracetamol that evening and that was it.
Then again I had my wisdom teeth out and had steak bbq for dinner while my sister looked like a chipmunk for a week after having hers done.
Everyone probably reacts differently to operations. Hopeing Tarls is a quick healer.

Don't get me wrong here, I wasn't in pain but when I have already paid for the operation and the overnight stay ( country, so hospital was 120 k away and I was slotted in for 4pm op in winter) so when they come around to do an observation on you and ask what your pain is, you always say 9 through gritted teeth ( never go ten, not for a knee scrape) and see what they have an offer.

I mean, if you go to a work show and the boss says "get what you want, it is all paid for" and you go to the bar, you don't ask for a scotch from the bottles in the drink dispenser, you tell the fine person behind the bar to get themselves the three step ladder and bring that blue bottle from Mr Walker down as you have your drinking boots on tonight.

Sure, I could have had some Panadeine and it would have more than sufficed but I was going for that "Comfortably Numb" feeling.

If Talia just needs a knee scrape he will be back first day new year not skipping a beat

Don't think it required answering with another question. Your choice, but perhaps leave the playing the man at the door
I looked this morning & you guys were at it ....i look 12 hours later & the marathon continues ....has any ground been made, or is everyone still going in circles

So best case scenario we could land pick 1 and pick 19.

Glory be.
Add that to the last two years draftee group ....and that really has us primed for some sustained time at the top

So Bicks , sorry if you have posted it before, but are we missing something with the Stocker? Reading the Bloser's board he is the second coming of Christ. What was he like leading up? Do/did you see the gem?
I had him just outside my 20 in my rankings, the more I saw of him I just got the impression he was a bit too one dimensional, very good inside mid with decent skills but very physically developed already so perhaps not as much upside as some others. It must be remembered also he was a full time footballer for all of 2018 finishing his schooling in 2017 so therefore unlike most lads in this draft class didn't have school, exams or school footy to juggle throughout the year. By his own admission his endurance is quite ordinary which is surprising considering he had all season to concentrate on that facet of his game, probably about right where he was taken IMO and certainly not a top 6 talent in this draft IMO.

Thanks mate.
I did go back onto the draft forums and had a look, they all were saying similar things. Good luck to him, but I don't see it.

You still don't get it, drafting is not about getting the best player at every pick, it is about minimizing busts

Where do you pull this shit from?

but love the continued cherry picking.

He hasn’t cherry picked a single thing.

you say, what about Fyfe in the same draft? Does it really matter, if you don't have a bust?

More inane drivel

All I am asking is why you would mention Gallucci's stats in one game over SPS, surely you can enlighten me without a deflection, as to your motive

Now that’s the argument you should stick with rather than misusing “cherry picking” and looking a fool

You’ve probably got him on toast but couldn’t help yourself making asinine draft observations that undermine your argument

See, this is what I find interesting, cherry picking of facts. I posted a reply, in a thread, incorrectly, which I acknowledged. If that deserves a ban, so be it

Not interested in changing opinions, interested in the facts and healthy debates

This is a football forum

It’s always the same mediocrities who keep blathering on about being taken out of context or cherry picking.

Rarely, if ever, showing the faintest understanding of what the terms mean
