It's not a foul, just a natural coming together for me.
Punching a player in the head isn’t a foul?

That’s a take.

It’s no different to a defender going for a tackle.

If you go for the ball, don’t win it and collect the player instead, it’s a foul.

It’s both remarkable and worrying how much of a difference Odegaard makes for us. Since he’s been back we’ve looked somewhat like we did last year, but the fact that we’re so heavily reliant on him is concerning.

I don't think Fabianski gets anything of the ball so when he punches Gabriel in the head it's a pen.

There's a lot of shenanigans going at corners, not all of it legal. For the first goal Timber with no eyes on the ball pushes Paqueta out at the near post giving Gabriel a free header. Another corner Trossard was rugby tackled to the ground by a Hammers player who wasn't looking at the ball.
I honestly have no idea how they decide what’s a foul although keeper punching head without ball first clearly is.

We are playing some scintillating stuff.

Saka is such a brilliant footballer. I am not sure how people can have Foden or Palmer ahead of him. Saka's consistency alone is a game changer, quite literally.

Foden and Palmer are wonderful players, but they're not quite as consistent as Saka is.

Star boy? Nah. Star man.

Dont know it's that's a pen for Arsenal.

The ball arrives at basically the same time as Gabriel is heading it and Fabianski going for the punch. Just seems like a normal collision where the goalkeeper is allowed to punch and the player is allowed to head it. It's not a foul, just a natural coming together for me.
Your bias is astounding.
On one hand defending a piece of shit human, Luis Suarez - whose actions are far worse than adultery.

Yet sit here denying a punch to the head is a foul. I hate this gunners squad and everything Arteta has made them into but that's a penalty all day long.

This is Jod we're talking about here. I'm surprised you're surprised.

Crystal Palace lucky to get a late equaliser but that miss in the first half by Munoz was wild. Sure there was a bit of pace on the ball but thats still a bad miss.

Wolves are just so poor and play some really stupid passes. Its hard to watch.

Brentford are good fun to watch. Might be the best team for neutrals this season. I was amazed their game against Everton ended 0-0 when they love to score but also love to concede.

Right now besides Southampton its really difficult to work out who the bottom 3 will be. Every time I seem to see Leicester they are dire, and I was shocked to see they are on 10 points. Ipswich play better than their points suggest, and every time I see Wolves they throw away points doing dumb shit either playing out from the back or when in possession in their defensive third.
Guess its going to come down to what their teams do in January, or if any of the teams cop an injury crisis.

As for Arsenal, good to see we have gone from struggling to score goals and sometimes create to scoring goals and fixing the GD. Now that we have got a lot of the difficult part of the fixture out of the way we might be able to get on a winning streak and hopefully Pool drop some points to make it interesting.

To lose with Newcastle having zero shots on target would have really summed up Palace’s day. Very lucky escape.

A couple of big midweek games this week to clean up the bottom teams with Ipswich vs Palace & Everton vs Wolves.

In what sense? R

We are relentless, entertaining, and exciting to say the least.

I don't think Arteta has turned the squad into whingers if that's what you're referring to.

Relentless, exciting but one-off the worst for over exaggerating injuries, haranguing the ref and general shithousery.

To lose to a pretty poor Newcastle who played without a shot on goal would have been horrific.

Equaliser was certainly late but not sure about lucky, what was lucky about it?

Wharton back soon, Doucoure last week and Eze returning yesterday will certainly help, been a dire season so far for us, now hopefully push on.

Pleased for Munoz, first goal for Palace, busy player on the pitch, jetting off to Colombia every month is tough. Apparently needed some TLC in the rooms at HT after his awful miss in the 1st half.

Just caught up on Arsenal’s game, geez they look the best team in the league when they play like that.

Liverpool have done well to take advantage of the ManC and Arsenal lulls in form.
Have Liverpool built up enough of a gap to hold them off? Not so sure.

Lucky in terms of timing not the goal itself. We’d clearly wasted plenty of opportunities up to that point.

To be fair, we don't harass the refs like other clubs. Its one thing I have hated about watching some of the champions league when teams surround the refs and the refs don't card them since FIFA/UEFA came out and said it should only be captains approaching refs.
And our shithousery was exclusively Havertz/White so its cut down 50% with Whites injury :tearsofjoy:

I think its a foul, but those ones where the keeper comes out, totally misses the ball and punches an opponent are often not given.
Didn't Onana get away with one last year when he smashed a Wolves player and PGMOL had to come out and apologise?

Martinez lucky to get away with his so called pass.

It boggles the mind that teams still try to play it out from the back considering how many goals keep on being conceded. How is the risk v reward supposed to be a positive?

Dont see too many goals conceded with a long kick upfield out of defence.

If the ball keeps coming back from the long punt that isn't great either.
