I thought you couldn't do that? Or was that because he already planned to give a yellow and decided against upgrading it? If that's the case then fair enough by him for standing his ground

I'm not 100% but I think if the ref is referred to the monitor for missing a possible red card he can stick or change the decision to whatever he sees fit. No card, yellow, or red.

Maybe it's just because 99% of the time when they are referred over they go with the red card so I've never seen it before where a yellow is produced after.

Cause I did think if they give a red, then get referred, if they downgrade it it has to be to nothing I thought.

Was interesting that the pundits were expecting a drop off to have happened just before the end of the new year, a mix of player drop off, injuries and teams adjusting to their tactics. But unless they cop an injury, especially to Wood, theres nothing to suggest they can't keep doing what they are doing.

The only issue that they have is they can't really score goals against the teams higher up in the table.
If Pool had gotten a 2nd goal, Forests hope would be for a draw, if Pool had scored 3 they lose.
