Quite often loan players are sent back to parent clubs if they cop a serious injury to protect their investment with regards to rehabilitation & recovery.



I'd say it is likely Everton send him back if he is out for the majority of the rest of the season. Hope the lad is ok, looked a serious injury.

It would eliminate a bit of it. Arsenal would have still tried to stop the game like they did Raya pretending to cramp just so they could slow the momentum and let Arteta talk to his players

Arsenal have 4 star players (Odegaard, Saka, Gabriel and Saliba) but the rest of the team is pretty average

Arsenal under Arteta have never lost a game due to the other team being better

Arsenal can't complain about any other team wasting time at the Emirates for the rest of the season
