Had a massive melt about it, Klopp pointed out that Mane got taken out in the box for a pen which wasnt given and didnt react like Lampard did.
One of your staff were getting arced up.

Was that after the Mane dive?

What did Lamps say?

Mane made the most of it, but there was definite contact made by Kovacic.

The angle which Lampard had was the worst angle to view the incident. Even the commentators said Lampard would have to reconsider once he saw the replay.

The commentators who said it wasn't a foul?

Mane certainly did make the most of it with the dive after Kovacic got the ball.

That altercation on the touchline between Frank and the Liverpool staff is exactly why no one wanted them winning it. Poor winners just like United.
Did see that, Frank under pressure lol. He was annoyed at Pep cos he was always up and shouting orders which he does all the time. Frank just couldnt handle that we were better than him and making his aspirations for the CL that much harder. Sit down Frank.

It's a shame that video above didnt go for longer haha.

Cos he's having a huge moan and then Trent goes and dispatches it in the top corner to rub salt in the wound. Apparently Pep jumped up and ran around and celebrated too after Frank kept telling him to sit down. Get in lads. Would have killed to see Frank's reaction. :D

The video above?

Watch it with both eyes open haha.
I think Chelsea fans are a little bias here. You see his ankle get trapped and bent the wrong way, lucky he wasnt injured. He wins the ball first but then catches Mane. It's a foul.

It doesnt matter anyways, we won the game by two clear goals so the TAA FK wasnt a defining moment in the game. Frank was just salty.

Yeah no doubt it doesnt change the result. TBH wasnt Frank salty about some comments from your bench.

Im not sure, it's hard to hear what was being said in that video. I read he was annoyed at Pep Ljinders, our assistant always getting up. But he does that every game. Just think Frank was under a lot of pressure cos he knows CL is on the line and he let it get to him a bit.

Yeah, I doubt he was angry that the assistant was standing up.

Probably that Lampard complained to the 4th official at the foul and this bloke got up to have his say.

He was annoyed that he was trying to question the ref on the sidelines and some other guy from your bench was trying to get involved that shouldnt have been.

Surely thats fair enough to get annoyed at?

After reading more, apparently Frank was annoyed at the Liverpool bench for getting up and shouting for a FK on the Kovacic tackle. Which happens all the time in every game. So I think Frank was just under a bit of pressure, heat of the moment stuff. It's all good. Chelsea are building and Frank has been good since he joined as manager. And we're doing just fine.

I dont think Frank was under any more pressure than any other game. He we miss UCL he will still ne manager next season. If was just annoyed at some flog who was chatting shit.

It happened, we move on.

Pep Ljinders is far from a flog.

Yeah and of course he will still be manager, but he obviously wants CL football and so he should.

Klopp and the Liverpool staff (and their supporters) are classic downhill skiers. All arrogant and chilled when they’re winning (or have already won) but are probably the worst of the lot when things aren’t going their way. Guaranteed if that apparent Mane pen occurred with the scores reversed, Klopp would have been going off his face.

Frank probably went over the top a little but I was glad to see a bit of emotion against a side that haven’t really been our direct rivals for the majority of the year. Shows his high standards that he’s set for himself. FA cup final, Champions League round of 16 and 1 point off top 4 in his first year and he’s still not happy.

I have to agree as much as I love the great man, Klopp can get quite salty when we lose and lashes out in press conferences. Many of the modern day great managers are similar, they are emotional. Mourinho, Pep are all known for their antics on the touchline.

Lampard did carry on but you don't mind seeing that passion. He probably regrets it, as most who have been involved in sport have done something stupid in the heat of the moment and later upon reflection thought "yeah I was a bit of a twat there" Unfortunately I've found myself in that position too many times while playing sport.

A modern-day rivalry forming here for sure, I look forward to taking on Chelsea next season they haven't been bad against us this season in their 3 losses arguably better at times but we just managed to get the result 3 out of 4 this season.
