Interesting latest update from Tony74 the SS ITK. Sounds like the coaching group were completely responsible for our average start. Thankfully the players were strong enough to give Richo the feedback that was required.

Vibes good. Lot more vocal than previous. Coaches have listened and stopped the overload of information and rules. Think it will be Jimmy for Hunter.

Sounds like we are better off not having a coach rather than the current set up

Obvious to all. Can't see the board missing this one.

Reckon there's some irons in the fire.

Yep - players have told the coaches to piss off because they know more about football than the coaches do. Pretty funny.
I think it's great that they had an honest discussion.

Players stated what they didn't like, coach has taken that on board and made changes.

So it's now on the players afaic.

A lot of coaches would let their ego get in the way and not take that feedback on board. It's great that we have a group who is willing to listen to the players and adjust when things are not working.
Dont even know why we have coaches when it seems that the players know best.

Seriously, the coaches are damned whichever way they turn.

Game plan not working, sack the coach.

Gsme plan changes with input from the players, coach is no good.

This is a good situation, players on the field have the best idea if things are or are not working it shows a good player/coach relationship, it also shows maturity on behalf of the coaching panel.

Agree its great that the coach and players have that sort of relationship. But when you look our game attendances and the lack of supporter faith I bet Finnis wished we had a much better start to the year.

All we need is the runner to watch the game day thread and presto... Problem solved.

just a matter of time now, we might as well start discussing options

we can be critical of the board and administration all we like but even they can't be this foolish to not be seeing this right now. they'd have to have put a line through Alan Richardson and looking at what the other options are

so what's people's preference?

who should be our new coach in 2019?

We need a clean sweep of the coaching positions.

This is what I would go with.

Grant Thomas - Coaching Director

Lenny Hayes - Senior Coach

Max Hudghton - Backline Coach

Nick Dal Santo - Midfield Coach

Nick Riewoldt - Forward Coach

Frankie Peckett - Interchange Coach

Alan Richardson - Water Boy

Why did we get rid of Grant Thomas? He had us playing some of the greatest footy we've ever played.

Sacked him after taking us to finals.

We had our Clarkson but we sacked him for Lyon, Watters and Richardson, we're a bunch of idiots.

tactically inept. great man manager though. if he managed to get someone like lyon working under him it would have been an amazing long term outcome.

Clarko would've won us like 10 premierships with GT's list.

Ken Sheldon went alright.

Shook up Craig Devonport old school style on the boundary line.

So what's changed in one week?

We need to clean out the assistants.

Adam Kingsley, how has this campaigner survived so long, the campaigner could barely get a game for Port and now he's our forwards coach?

How is our forward line going under Kingsley? It's a shambles, get rid of this prick FFS.
