For those who listened to the full Silvers interview perhaps they can elaborate as I only heard snippets. Does this sound about right?

We are close.
We got ahead of ourselves early, bounced back but then copped injuries.
We are close
Needed to bring in some experience.
We are not that far away.
Needed to make changes to coaching structure.
We are not that far away.

No mention of coach who went rogue bonkers or shit selections, shit match ups.

As a result of the review:

We brought in 3 players, hmm don’t most other clubs bring in recruits on a regular basis?
Added a coaching director between Nicks and the asssitants, demoted Burns, changed roles for Godden and Wright.

Gees I’m glad I listened the other night and held fire, problems are solved.

Im going to give the club a benefit of the doubt there because my take is only assumption.

Like the players Nicks has an exit interview and performance review. (literally im only guessing but its a professional sport and youd at least expect this to be a bare minimum)

If the club didnt tell him to get his shit together during this process I truly dont know what to say. A lot of things went wrong and some of it clearly Nicks fault. So hopefully they pressed improvement is needed.

I just get a feel from the silvers interview that we are patting ourselves on the back before the real work even starts, anyway if nicks fails to get us in finals next year he’s gone, pretty disappointed with the lack of coaching dpt changes. He hasn’t ruled out getting in Balme but it probably won’t happen, they haven’t contacted him since the last 2 times they called. And Wright isn’t happening.
