Son Son not really in the contest over the last few weeks which is hurting us a bit. A few positives but definitely things to clean up on. I just love this team.

IMHO Freo a bit lucky to get that win BUT as a rebuilding club it is great to yet again watch the boys come from behind to run over the opposition. You can't buy that kind of culture building stuff.

The good parts are sensational at times - the bad parts are dreadful and sometimes squirmish.

Against West Coast Freo will get chopped up if they don't tidy up the skills.

I love the intensity and will to win the club is developing. If Freo can bring the manic pressure and tidy up the inside 50 entries and scoring we'll be a chance against the slime.

Stephen Hill will be a loss - unfortunate injury and hopefully he will only miss a few weeks. I hope they don't bring in Pearce for him. More youth I say..

Agree, buuuuuuut, we did the best attacking plays as well as put the most pressure on. We had many things wrong but we did a lot right!

Far out, 7 have spent half the post-game show highlighting the one umpiring inconsistency that went our way (the deliberate OOB).

I don't think North could possibly complain about the umpiring favouring us over the course of the game.

Brad Scott had his players push hard defensively and they don't have the fast players to push forward so they defend super hard and then burn out. A big chunk of their forward movement came from free kicks.

We have so much room for improvement, so so much but McCarthy is so classy. Next season he could be all Australian.

So you're basing your statement that the last three wins were the result of a players revolt because Ross was dour in the presser? Yup, clearly our close wins have all been because the players have been doing their own thing and the coach had nothing to do with it. He's so broken up about being 3-2 and having a team that's already tracking better than it did last year.

I may be accused of drinking the Kool Ade, but I really don't understand the thought processes that leap to those conclusions. It just defies logic.

That second quarter was terrible, if we weren't turning the ball over with bad skills it was the umps giving free kicks against us just when we were in a position to get some clean ball movement. Really killed momentum.

But great character to keep hanging in there and grinding it out.
