Lynch + the melbourne 1st round pick we have might get the deal done. I would do the deal if it meant we get one of the top 5 prospects in this draft and all the better if it is Hately or Rankine

I personally find the Lynch bit interesting and not something I thought would happen.
My discussions from another sauce earlier this year was that the club was confident Sloane would stay, so its this bit I believe more than the Lynch story.
For the record my intel and what I've previously posted on a few players is:
Was told by a board member that Danger would stay, that statement from this person was very confident but it didn't turn out that way.
Regarding Lever another board member I had a bit of a chat with alluded to the fact that the club would not pay Lever the big $$ and without this person saying so directly it was conveyed in a way that you could only come to the conclusion Lever was gone.
And re Sloane I had a chat with another board member and they were confident Sloane would stay.
Having said that the info I got last night was from another sauce and not the board members I've chatted to in the past.
So I'm not here beating my chest saying its a done deal and neither would I purposely post something I knew for a fact was wrong.

This is the perfect example of a nothing article the media come up with to fill up air time and pages in the paper. You could swap out pretty much any Victorian club and any out of contract midfielder originally from Victoria and not even need to change the rest of the article.
