I’m actually very close to the point where I’m gonna be disappointed if we keep Sloane and lynch now.. especially if we pay big dollars on four or so year contracts to either of them..

I’d rather we hold on to the salary cap space for crouch, fog, laird, Doedee etc so we can keep them when their contracts come up next..

I can see melts in three or four years time if lynch and Sloane are on our lists on big coin and are cooked..

let some dud Melbourne club take theming pay them overs.. we’ll use whatever picks we get to refresh the roster from this unbelievable looking draft list this year..

I personally find the Lynch bit interesting and not something I thought would happen.

My discussions from another sauce earlier this year was that the club was confident Sloane would stay, so its this bit I believe more than the Lynch story.

For the record my intel and what I've previously posted on a few players is:
Was told by a board member that Danger would stay, that statement from this person was very confident but it didn't turn out that way.

Regarding Lever another board member I had a bit of a chat with alluded to the fact that the club would not pay Lever the big $$ and without this person saying so directly it was conveyed in a way that you could only come to the conclusion Lever was gone.

And re Sloane I had a chat with another board member and they were confident Sloane would stay.

Having said that the info I got last night was from another sauce and not the board members I've chatted to in the past.

So I'm not here beating my chest saying its a done deal and neither would I purposely post something I knew for a fact was wrong.

Future 1st. They'll get Lynch and Gaff and bet that gets them into the top 8 for 2019. Which could actually be a decent bargaining chip to flip along with Melbourne's pick for a top 3 pick this year since you might be able to sell a team on it having a good chance to be a top 5-8 pick next yeE.

If we get Saints 2019 first, I would keep it. Could be a number 1 pick next year. Unless we can flip that into Lukosious. Can we use 2019 picks in live trading?
