Comments on Guthries game?
Taking away the 2 second games and the rookie coming back from injury his stats were the worst for the Cats.
Now normally that would be ok for a defensive forward/midfielder but isn't this the same Guthrie who 2 years ago was meant to be pushing towards Duncans level and cementing himself as a star?
What the **** has happened to him?!
It isn't that he's a poor user or makes bad decisions but he seems incapable of getting into games.. change of role perhaps? Down on confidence? Too busy watching Dangerfield and dreaming about ice-cream?

Thought Guthers went ok in the first half, but then Went missing after half time.

Rome wasn't built in a day so will take the glass half full approach and say hope its something he can build on in the coming weeks.

If I were The Zoeko I'd be keeping well clear of Browny tonight and considering a Restraining Order - he may very well need to take a pregnancy test after the attention he copped tonight.

Great result for us. A few passages of poor play and some dumb decisions but overall a decent display. Disappointments were Stanley's kicking and the aforementioned errors, generally from reliable hands like 2E and Duncan early. Positives were many: Duncan HUGE. Danger HUGE. Taylor in defence, surprisingly, is a very good footballer. Henderson and Bews read the play at will in the second half to repel most Brisbane attacks. Parfitt can't be tackled. Parsons got amongst the goals again. Blitz and Motlop set us up in the first half with fantastic displays. Murdoch has gone from a whipping boy into a player I'm now happy to see around a contest, especially if he's about to lay a tackle. Could be our new Kel in that regard? Hawkins finally got some goals after a lean patch. Kolo was really solid. The game was quite bruise free but I'm glad we pushed on and buried them considering there were periods early where it seemed Brisbane's legspeed and Zoeko's ability to kick goals while curing all world hunger might threaten us.

I think it's cruel that they let Tony Shaw in the commentary box, the way they sit there and laugh at a man clearly in the throws of dementia having occasional moments of lucidity amidst 2 hours of slurring dribble is almost sad at this point (only semi-joking)

Speaking of slurring dribble, how the **** did johno brown get a job? And not to mention Brian Lake. Christ.

Anyway, solid win, good to see us put a team away again

Not a great game, just not a natural forward, he really didn't want to take a shot on goal. He has been thrown around a lot this year, I have no issue with it, the coaches know what they want from him. He'll be better for the experience.

Name a worse 14 goal win.

You can't.

Checkmate.
Why so upset over an 85 point win?

On another note, the bureau of meteorology would like to know when the tide is going to turn Biggy_Boy? Any moment now surely.

Great to see Parsons and Parfitt continue their good form (welcome back, Brandon!).

Before round one neither of them were penciled in for senior football, but as it stands I expect one or both of them will be a part of our finals team.

Credit also to Murdoch and Bews, who have gone from maligned players in and out of the side to Best 22 locks on current form.

His mediocre performances are accepted now by most on here, the only reason he gets a game is we have no depth.

More like pointlessmate.

Go Catters

Be nice, he normally spends the whole game splattering moronically abusive vitriolic drivel at Geelong players all over the gameday thread at the rate of one dropping every 2 or 3 minutes.
His whole raison d'etre has just been washed away from under him.
Leave him alone, all of you.
