The thread is there for all to see and witness for themselves

And yes there is always 2012 for all teams ..including the Eagles after this weekend coming.

And guess what, if the Eagles win this weekend you will be posting the exact same post the next week.

You do realise everyone knows you are hurting pretty bad after Sat night and posts like these just make you sound like a sore loser?:D

The arrogance of Carlton fans has taken the cake this year, at least Collingwood and Geelong fans have a legitimate reason to be cocky. That loss on Sat night was great just so Blues posters will stop blowing hot air up their own bottoms telling anyone who would listen how good they are.

Eagles are building towards a serious challenge and are now ahead of schedule, a third finals experience against another top two side in a Prelim final is just another step in our lists rebuild. Something your club has taken over 10 years to build towards and they still haven't made it.:):thumbsu:

Not really he got punished by his own leadership group at your club so it clearly was not a media beat up. I just wonder if your thick or haven't been following football in the last 4 years. No druggies here anymore only a team that went from last to top 4 in a year.:thumbsu:

I was just repeating what someone else said. No need for name-calling.

Disagree with predictions of a blowout. I think it'll be a close game, and either team can win it. West Coast are coming off a bruising encounter with Carlton and Geelong have had a week's rest so in theory the Cats should have the advantage, but we've seen too many times how the bye has thrown the spanner into the works of the resting team. Menzel's absence will be a big loss and if Corey doesn't come back it'll be even more difficult.

Ha, that's cool, hopefully we can change that this week.

It's a game we can certainly win. In the win earlier in the year there was long periods when we really split em open and they had no answer.

If we can keep do that for longer periods, we can beat them again.

When did Geelong ever lose a game to the great Unlisted side? :p

Looking forward to this game, should be a cracker. If we play our best and the Cats are just a bit off I think we can get them. Geelong are the clear favourites and so they should be, I just hope we give it a red hot crack (which we will) and play in another memorable final.

Just to add my two cents, it won't be a blowout, but it won't be a thriller either. 30-35 point win maximum to Geelong, we won't get closer than 2-3 goals though.

I never said Hawkins and Podsiadly would kick all the goals, so I don't care much. However, I reckon Hawkins will out muscle and use his size to his advantage against whoever is put on him. Cloke and Dawes are different to Pods and Hawkins. You can't always go on expecting the same performance week in, week out, when the opponents are completely different.

If Cloke didn't outmuscle MacKenzie, Hawkins won't.

He'll be playing on Glass anyway, so won't get a kick.

A lot of things have to go right for us if we are even to get close to Geelong. A lot.

It was a bruising game against Carlton and we'll have a lot of sore bodies to nurse through the week before travelling across the country. Geelong will be refreshed and will quite rightly be thinking they have a real shot at another flag as their best football is better than ours, no question.

Our best hope is to try and make the game a real scrap like we did against Collingwood and hope we can stymie Geelong's run off half back which we couldn't do against Collingwood.

Both teams have won one finals game this year ....and i'm tipping it to remain that way . ;)

Geelong are no better than Collingwood and we got within 20 points of them last week without kerr who was our best tonight. We are not without a chance. Should be paying a bit over $3 for a west coast win. I think we may really tire late in the game though its been a very tough month of football with 2 games in the wet followed by toughies against collingwood and carlton. Bit too inexperienced too i feel.

The fairy tale continues though :D

nicoski, waters or embley?:D:D:D

This thread:

- Cats supporters: we'll probably win, WC very slight chance though
- WC supporters: we'll probably lose, but have a chance of winning
- Hawks/Pies supporters: hoping WC win
- Blues supporters: most (not all) having a cry or tipping cats to dominate due to said cry
- Neutral supporters: cats to dominate

Me: cats to be too good, eagles to stay somewhat in touch, cats to run away with it by around 40.

3 Selwoods is going to be nuts. Just bring back the 'ducked his head rule' already.

All this thread proves is geelong supporters are the most arrogant and ignorant in the league...

There are just as many Eagles fans tipping the Eagles.

I expect Geelong to win this by about 20 points, I'm nervous about this one.

The one thing that makes me feel better, is that upsets rarely seem to happen in pre-lim finals.

No different to the Eagles v Carlton thread last week. A large amount of Eagles supporters carried on worse than what i have seen in here. At least most Geelong supporters have given us a chance.

i feel west coast will make a game of it then the likes of chappy, bartel, kelly, selwood, corey, stevie j, enright, scarlett, j pod, ottens, will just be to experienced and to good, and will run over the top of them.
