Rubbish Rors.

He was in the action of spoiling, had done so and Wingard ran into his arm. Was never, and should never have been, a free kick.

It was an accident but it doesn't recognise intent. If you go to spoil and over run it but stop yourself by holding the players head it is still a free, the intent isn't to hit the head. It was definitely not his intent but clearly a free kick for head high contact.

Wingard & RGray are special players.

Some of the work Gray did in close, getting out a quick handball to set up the first link in play - was sublime - on numerous occasions.

He showed Sam Mitchell a few times how it was done.

He's my hope of what type of player Billings hopefully becomes.
Gray especially. His in close work is amazing, not many people realise that he actually lead the Power in clearances last season. Elite in every sense of the word.

Shithouse act wasn't it!
Absolutely!

If it was one of our olayers they would already be on report and hung drawn and quartered in the media. Remember Bakers hand slap on SJ. Which was more dangerous for the player hit?

I'm going for Essendon, but even if they will probably need 2 wins to go above us. Unless we get absolutely smashed in the last 3 games. West Coast in Perth is a chance (to get smashed)

Yeah we have to hope that the Bombers want to show everyone whats what after the Pariah/Messiah leaving during the week!! They win this one and all they need will be one more win and Parish will be ours

Yeah Essendon to win
So we get pick four
Could benefit us if they could beat Collingwood in the last round so we'd get pick 4.

Hmmm... That's a good point.

Given we play Geelong, Sydney & West Coast to finish the year, you'd think we'd lose all 3.

Dees should beat Carlton tomorrow & go above us - takes our pick down to pick 5

Essendon can beat Gold Coast today & possibly Collingwood in round 23 - drops our pick down to pick 4

Hmmm..... I like winning, but I also like drafting the most elite kids possible..... Oh the dilemma!

If we win, we enjoy taking a scalp and settle for pick 5/6, but if we lose, we need the Dees and the Injectors to win as much as possible so we finish as low as possible.

Would love nothing more than for the Bombers to be beaten by a kick after the siren after a Suns player take a mark in the square and goes the torp FTW.

Firstly because the Suns pissup will be epic and we'll get another instance of players being suspended, and I'll get to laugh at these people taking an AFL contract for granted, secondly because it'll add to the heartbreak of Essendon supporters that they were ahead, they had it won, and for that brief moment of elation, some dude who would rather be drunk and passed out on a bench in a park crushed their hopes and dreams, and thirdly because I hold out a small hope that one day, Rockets head will explode as his vein tries to escape his face and strangle the nearest bloke he's yelling at.

Hodge should also get 5 reduced to 4 after arguing that he's Hodge, check it.
I still maintain Port are a great team, love their players when they are playing well and they play with real passion and flair that it looks sexy, so great to see them knock off the Hawks.
Was hoping that GWS would put up a better show than they have, but hopefully they focus on the start of the year and not the back end with how they want to play their footy.
Collingwood this year as a club are all about that PR, for as much as I hate them and wish them nothing but mediocrity, the ability to deflect several almost 100 point drubbings with bringing in more million dollar agreements is, I'm envious. Tigers though, Dogs lose to Eagles and they're 4th, jumped like 6% in that match alone, I'd be worried facing them in a prelim if they make 4th.

Also, if the draft is anything to go by, expect one side that finished below us to take a left field selection to suit "needs" because it will happen.

If the Bulldogs lose Sydney will be fourth, because they thrashed GWS today.

This was before I had looked at the ladder properly, have half arsed a lot today in my defense.

let it slide, let it slide let it slide. Nothing to see here. :D

North putting on "pressure" and Freo are just walking through them.

Rekon we will be in contention before North are ever a realistic shot. Amazing how soft Geelong and North are considering the thugs that coach them.

We drew.
