That map must be outdated because both Melton and Sunbury are classified as Metropolitan Melbourne.Technically, yes...
The following image is a map of the region covered under the 'Melbourne Metro' flag - and say you work in Werribee, you won't get the Geelong Cup public holiday but you do fall into the region that gets the Melbourne Cup public holiday as they're considered part of Melbourne

Thanks, I am unclear of all the draft rules. If Clohesy goes undrafted he automatically goes onto our cat b rookie list.
Riccardi is in the same boat but goes onto the main rookie list
We won't be using any of our two selections on either.
I guess the club is taking a punt that they'll be overlooked by the other 17 clubs. Thanks, I am unclear of all the draft rules.
49 maybe even down to 47Pure_Ownage what do you estimate our pick 58 coming down to?
Hopefully Lemmey lasts until then.49 maybe even down to 47
this is next level fact checking ... as always, thank you 09.Technically, yes...

You are the Spencer Routh of this thread.
That's strange. Usually it's where your place of work resides that determines the public holiday you take.I also just used my experience with what's happened at work recently - I work in Geelong, but there's a few in the management team who live between Werribee & Melbourne
On Geelong Cup day, those who lived in Geelong had the day off as a public holiday while the Werribee -> Melbourne crew worked. For the Melbourne Cup public holiday it was the reverse situation
I'd be happy to slip back and select my favourite player in this draft with the biggest upside that being Olli Hotton who should be there in the 14-20 range.Hopefully Lemmey lasts until then.
8 - Clark
47 - Lemmey
I'll party for two days.
I want Clark. I'd only drop back if he's gone.I'd be happy to slip back and select my favourite player in this draft with the biggest upside that being Olli Hotton who should be there in the 14-20 range.
FWIW plenty of teams willing to part with plenty to slot into Pick 7 IMO.
Can't wait to see how it all unfolds.
He'll be up North(Suns) or at Glenferrie i'd say.I want Clark. I'd only drop back if he's gone.
He has Jimmy Bartel written all over him..
Let's see what transpires. He'll be up North(Suns) or at Glenferrie i'd say.
Don't think the Bombers will take him.
Werribee was a town about 34 years ago, became a city in 1988, and has been connected by continuous housing/industry to the Melbourne sprawl maybe 15 years ago tbh.Werribee is "metro"?
Prismall's mum was a diehard cats fan, and I'm not sure the boys were because their Dad was a Kanga's supporter. But he had a little brother that was an absolute gun CHF as a junior and probably had better upside than Brent, but for some reason or rather he never made it. Might have given the game away by 18 or so.My recollection of the Prismall trade is that he was very disappointed to be asked to go. We needed the good pick to land Ottons and Brent paid the price. I feel if the club hand not pressed he wouldf have remained a Cat. Obviously it worked out extrodinarily well for Geelong. So I see that one and club driven, not the player.

Once we get past the initial panic of not picking who everyone expects we'll all be fine.
It happens every year, posters freak out, wish we had picked so and so, and by the end of the week we love the new guy and embrace him as our own and forget the alternative even exists.
Of course aside from the never ending Grundy conversation..
ducks for cover
.......but it usually ends up okay.
Jaxon Binns, hello. Need some outside hard runners that can bang some goals. We saw what happened once we brought Isaac Smith into our team, just changed the dynamics. Been saying this for the last decade, we were short of one pacey outside mid for the entire period of 2012 to 2020. We would've had a flag then had we had one more.49 maybe even down to 47
Yeah, you may be right there. Around then.
