It is a difference in investment, Close 2020 didn't cost us much. Between the money and the pick I'd be looking for an instant impact.

I don't see him dislodging anyone in the forward line or midfield

Bruhn really hasnt done a great deal to be trading a first rounder for him, wouldn't be surprised if that deal takes a while to get done.

The only time he played an entire game in his rightful position he had 24 disposals and kicked 2 goals..

The kid can play ... GWS just had too many in his spot and shoehorned him onto a HFF..

I just don't see where he fits in round 1 next year

He’s 3rd year. He’s already played 30 games. Guys like himself can go past people very very quickly in years 3 and 4 of the system. We have seen that his year with how quickly Holmes, Close and SDK blew past very talented people.

In principal early pick + Early Games on probabilities leads to a lot of career games. But we're stacked in the same place we'd want to fit him in, Oliver Henry too. They'd have to push past players whose attributes fit their roles well.

Pick 48 is useless and a throw at the dartboard. I’d much rather just keep pick 13 in that scenario. I’d offer up next years first rounder for him
