Don Pyke – No premierships for you Mr Pyke. Obviously will not be here in 2024 when our next one year premiership window opens. Dead Man Walking.

As we were in our premiership window, the reluctance to trade aggressively over the last 2 years has been horrendous and an indictment on the incompetent people running this club. Traded out 3 players with aggression, x-factor and talent just as they were entering their prime for a slightly soft 29 years old. Also, their inability to trade in a ruckman shows how arrogant and incompetent the hacks running this club are. MASSIVE FAIL.

Walker – 3 possessions in the first half of football. Thinks he’s still playing in the GF. Must retire at the end of the year.

A mediocre club held together by a supporter base with deep pockets and blind loyalty. Will that loyalty run out?

I wish we paid Lever whatever he wanted especially if it meant we also kept Cameron and McGovern. This is a a club devoid of aggression, speed and x-factor. Viva La Mackay!

It’s effectively year 2 of a 7 year rebuild so need to start playing the kids!

Thankfully as each mediocre year passes my after loss anger has turned to apathy. I will be over this lose within the hour. “they are customers not supporters”. This club will not win a premiership for at least another 20 years.
If we paid Lever what we wanted we wouldn't have kept Gov.

I'm starting to think our squad is being over coached. So much indecision going forward. Maybe need to just let the play and regain some confidence. Forward entries terrible, transition kamikaze. Stoppage structures all wrong. Too much finger pointing.

We've served up the same game plan this season... backed the boys in... and the game has gone past our coaching panel. It's almost embarrassing.

Seedsman possible ACL to top it off.

Season is shot and club is shot until some drastic changes happen.

We though these changes might have occurred despite the retention of personnel, but this year is almost certain to be the same as 2018, if not worse.
We have invested in 'aging' players and I think we are going to pay the price - mediocrity at best!

Walker was way worse than Jenkins who was a mixed bag.
In Walker's defense he went up the ground, tried to play in front and put his body on the line a few times, especially when we surged in the third quarter.

Jenkins defines the phrase 'Joe the Goose'. He is putrid in every sense of the word and his attitude is a dark stain on the fabric of our proud club. Every second he draws breath in our jumper is a walking insult to the warriors of 97/98, and he wears boots with different coloured soles.

Tom Lynch - Senior player. 26 touches at 57% DE. 2 goals, 3 behinds.

Brad Crouch - Senior player. Misses the match winner from point blank

Bryce Gibbs - Senior player. 63% DE playing out of the contest. 6 clangers and 11 turnovers

Eddie Betts - Senior player. 0 goals, 1 behind.

Rory Atkins - Approaching 100 games. 12 touches

David Mackay - Senior player. 13 touches with 3 turnovers

Taylor Walker - Senior player. 1 Joe the Goose goal and a miss

Josh Jenkins - Senior player. 1 goal 1 behind.

Rory Laird - Senior player. 1 touch in the first quarter.

Our SENIOR PLAYERS are costing us.

They have the biggest gold passes in the AFL and this is what they dish up. It's DISGUSTING

Most of us here aren't surprised by this though, are we?

There is no accountability of performance in the AFC; from the Chairman, to the playing group (unless you're young - then you're held accountable).

After 26 years of following this club I can safely say for the first time that I just don’t give a shat anymore. If this is how they want to treat their loyal supporters who spend so much energy following them then the entire club can go EAD. Classless, insipid and purely apathetic this mob.

Frustrating game to lose when you actually play better than them for big periods of the game just to see the final possesion fail.

I loved the more attacking play and mindset.

Hated the entries into 50.

One thing that really annoys me is how much ball we put on a forwards head and not into the space he can lead into.

We do it pretty well across the ground. Put the ball on the attacking side for the player to recieve it. But then the final possession into 50 is alway defensive side kr on their head. Rarely goal side or even rarely to the advantage of a forward leading onto the ball.

Do Tex and Jenkins want the ball delivered that way? Or is it direction from Ben Hart that he wants a high ball to no advantage as the F50 entry.

I just dont get it.

So much this

Lot of negative comments here....so i'll put this into perspective.

We lost at home.

To a team who played in the wet off a 5 day break.

To a team that was 2 men down in the last quater.

On a hot night.

The Crows ARE the biggest pretenders in the AFL.... absolutely usless with a bunch of hacks as senior players.

Pathetic coaching group.

All the positive that Phill Walsh gave to this club with "elite standards" has slowly been shat on.

6 goals to their kids.....we play a bunch of cooked spuds.

Fogarty needs to request a trade and join the presession out of this patheitic loser club.

I've been a Crows supporter since day dot.....but im almost out.

When the hell are our suppoeters going to demand more ???? ....bloody Burton still has a job ....F me !!!!!!

Feel sorry for pyke, he could be a gun coach, but is forced to work with mediocrety.
Those on the board should be ashamed of themselves for putting self interest ahead of what's best for the club.

Of FFS, don’t blame the club. He is the coach. Do you think Clarkson is hampered by the Hawthorn board? Was Blight restricted when he turfed Bones and A Jarman? Sorry but he is weak and history will show he was a nothing coach because he had no spine.

I take no joy in:
Getting my tip
Within 2 points of that margin
Predicting we’d win the I50 count but would ultimately be a frustrating night.

I’m simply going to repeat what I’ve been banging in about for too long.

This PG is stale. Not enough turnover.

One player is mobile & the other isn't.

Fog should come in for Walker who doesn't even look dangerous.

You are kidding yourself if you think he is playing better than JJ who whilst isn't great isn't a complete liability

Once again, Blight didn't do that.... JR did.
