Can anyone explain what's happened to B Crouch's field kicking. It's currently below SAAFL standard
It look like a composure issue, he just slams it on the boot instead of taking his time to line up a drop punt

80%. Jarryd Lyons had the lowest at 67%.
Bad:
Matt Crouch only with 68% game time.
It's not that others were worse, he was comfortably in our top 6-8.I agree Douglas was back to his zippy best today ......many much worse today

They got away with so many throws it was laughable.Brad Crouch directly gave away two goals, but the rest of his game was pretty good. Certainly getting back to his previous good form.
101 tackles is excellent, but there were passages of continuous tackles for no net positive result. Either the umpiring was against us or need to ping those arms and stick those tackles better.
Ugly win, but at least it was a win. Had anxiety related heart palpitations for over three quarters of the game.
No certainly not he has played 684 far king games in a row!!Didn't Thomo have a rest a couple of weeks ago?
73% would reflect his lop sided handpass count. His kicking bears no resemblance to a drop punt.Confidence in the body, confidence in playing at AFL level, getting used to how much time you have or don't have.
He went at 73% efficiency which is pretty good considering he got the most contested footy as well.
Few shanks here and there but others do it as well.
He will get there, I just want to see him get continuity for the years ahead.

Dominant hands and squared up Viney in the first.Bad:
Matt Crouch only with 68% game time.
I did think of you and this prediction.Bad: Jakey Lever losing his shit in the forward 50 and costing me my first Game of Crows points. Having said that, given his day today he probably would have kicked into the man, poor bugger had a shocker.
It was a suggestion of ranking ......sorry, didn't mean worse as in played badlyIt's not that others were worse, he was comfortably in our top 6-8.
A couple of times watching the game today I thought he was off injured, Hopefully just young player management.Bad:

Probably count tackles when Melbourne got the hands free. They were also inexplicably able to move the ball on on occasion by just dropping it or incorrect disposal. I'm all for free flowing but rules are rules.Brad Crouch directly gave away two goals, but the rest of his game was pretty good. Certainly getting back to his previous good form.

But NikkiNoo told us all to watch for it and we still let ourselves get frustrated. Friday Night Football ( Thursday this week) is when the rule of the week comes in.They got away with so many throws it was laughable.
Then they ended up getting goals from it.
Incredibly frustrating.

My recollection is he may have hurt his arm by the interchange boundary line?I'm critical of Douglas but credit for his past 2 weeks, been pretty good.
Still could be better, just hope he doesn't fade out again as he does.
It adds another vital element to us if he is buzzing around being dangerous.
Mentioned it in the game day thread but Lever got a hit early in the game and was off the ground for a while.
Not sure how long but I didn't see him for a while and his stats didn't move.
Looked to have an effect him, credit to him for soldiering on if so.
We forget he's a young kid in the game still.
Yeah they're the shanks I meant.73% would reflect his lop sided handpass count. His kicking bears no resemblance to a drop punt.
