Hinge did an ankle when pushed out of a marking contest earlyWhat injuries did Laird and Hinge pick up?
Are you a moderator because thats just a flat out silly post from somebody who should have more intelligence than that. We might actually look dangerous and cohesive with a proper key forward ever thought of that?. It's certainly not the worst list ever assembled your sounding like Kane Cornes. Our Ressies are undefeated so the list can't be that bad. I'll see myself out but a truly nuffie post if ever I saw one. It's important to remember this Hawthorn squad is designed to tank. It's one of the worst squads ever assembled and on top of that they were missing their best midfielder and their best tall forward.
We were full strength.
Getting away with a last minute win against this team is not in any way a good thing. It's a reality check. It's a wake up. We need to implement changes right now because we played diabolical football against a team that will be flat out trying to win even one more game this season
Yeah, they ain’t the worst team in the compWhat I said after watching Hawks last week. They are dangerous going forward and rebound well. One bloke stopped them winning last week.

Certainly wasn't out there holding the hawks most dangerous rebounding runner like he did last weekAre any of the Ben Keays fan club that jumped all over me last week tell us all where Benny was in that second half?
Missing persons report is in order..
I think Dawson really struggled today so Sloane picked up the slack when Dawson was being less effective and fumbling more than we're used to. We're pretty fortunate Rory has looked decent in the middle the last 3-4 weeks, particular in the 2nd halves. Has really been crucial for us at times but none more than today.Good:
Sloane’s last quarter was pretty epic. *Edit - you know what, it was more than just his last qtr. Sloaney was definitely in our top 3 performers overall. Didn’t think we’d ever see him crack the 30 disposals again tbh. Huge effort.
They really didnt want to play holding the ball todayThink we got the best of the umpiring
And we took advantage. Have never seen us come back and win like that. To not give up and keep working is a very very good sign about the mental state of this team.We led at every break because they couldn't help but hand the ball back to us
It being Tasmania, and having watched the Crows for almost 30 years . Glad I was wrong!!How do you write a team off at 3/4 time when you are leading (admittedly narrowly)?
All that green tobacco smoke in the air?My eyes were clouded with tears at Birk bar with 5 minutes left.
Haha, we're well overdue for the rub of the green vs Hawks. On the hawks board they're saying Rankine was out of bounds on his last goal, was he?
Was almost a career best game from him today. And 3 of Frost's were where he clearly outmarked our Key Forwards.
I liked the start of your post until the above, without which remarks your posting would be so much better.
What's the point of making disparaging remarks about fellow supporters?
The Crows did not play well compared to the last 3 weeks --- Hawks' pressure was manic --- but, yes, the win has terrific value especially looking ahead to our next 4 games.
Yes, both. SANFL loss to Centrals and Tassie game today could be important wake-up calls.SANFL team looked flat, AFL team looked flat.
Funny game today, Walker and Fog were a big part in our win in the end and the same could be said for Frost and Sicily if the Hawks had had got over the line. Was almost a career best game from him today.
Very good balanced post. Congrats on the win. Certainly similarities between us and you guys with you guys being 2 years ahead. We have had 2 and a half poor games this year but have been ok in the others. Certainly not tanking just don't have the class yet in our developing talent to get consistent results.Mostly just another game where we didn't execute under pressure, which is a sign we'll still need more skillful players in the side to go forward. Not much difference to the GWS game where we carved 'em up when they were soft in the first half and struggled mightily in the 2nd when they cranked down on us. People saying we rocked up thinking we'd win, I don't think that was the case at all, we're just coming off of games against the Dockers and Blues where they were not going two ways and we made 'em pay. Hawks are very much us from a couple of years ago, they're not really uber skilled yet or have a ton of good players, but they'll try their guts out and they can catch teams because of it. We're still not at that level where we have enough class to eventually push through that though and we gotta arm wrestle on their level. That little bit of class we do have got us the W in the end with the Rankine and Fog goals.
Had the opportunities, just couldn't do anything with them. Had something like 13 more forward half intercepts than the Hawks, but we only scored 1 goal from our 27, while they scored 4 goals from their 13. Learn to execute, not panic under pressure and flip that around and the game ends up a lot different.
Have never seen us come back and win like that.
Pessimist's Post of the Year nominee. The ugly is all this has done is reduced our draft pick. We're not competing in finals this year.
Apparently it's a league wide decision to honour the no prior opportunity rule. I like it, but it will take a bit of getting used to.They really didnt want to play holding the ball today
The bedwetters on this board aren't satisfied unless they are wins like the Carlton game. The Crows weren't at their absolute best, but we weren't at our worst either, narrowing that gap is something we haven't been able to do for a long time. Hawks brought the heat all game and we were able to fight our way through it, this group will get huge confidence from that, regardless of the crap some post on this board over the next few days.A fair bit of bedwetting in the gameday thread, but that would have to be one of the highest pressure games of the season so far, being able to come away with the 4 points is another step up for this group.
