But the skill level is still lacking

So many missed (easy) goals when we had a free player streaming forward (who had an open target in F50) and then we handball behind them and turn it over. Infuriating

Really need to sort that shit out

Soligo, Berry, Tex, TT, Fog, Dawson all good.
Result is expected. Choked when required to stand up.

Good: two teams with youthful exuberance going at it but Collingwood had the better experienced players overall. Can't fault the players in the wet.

Bad:

• The crows coaching staff will be all over hanging their hat on this game as proof the rebuild is on track.
• the poor decision making going forward is yet again proof that either Nicks cant coach his game plan or that is the game plan.

Bad: McHenry, Murphy's two goals means his gold pass got renewed, Doedee was ****ing woeful today. Milera was shit except for 5 minutes.

Ugly: lose by a goal, charmicael kicks a goal from outside 50 and was one of their best. Questions need to be asked of Hamish, why wasn't he drafted? He tore us a new one.

He conceded 2 goals in their goal square & as you say is glacier slow around the ground.

I agree. We’re all singing praises for the effort and that’s fair enough but the conditions suited our game. In dry conditions, ala Marvel, their skills and our lack of would have a belting.

The game could've gone either way, side on the up, much respect.

Just shows we are 3-5 classy and composed players short of even challenging for finals.

We also once again gave up multiple goals in as many minutes several times.

Fought hard I suppose but perhaps at some point the recruiters and coaches will realise that hard and tough has its limits.
