Another thing about Tex (other than the obvious goal kicking), is that his other disposals are ALWAYS impactful, and often involve evasion, assessing the play, and moving the ball on to advatange (either to a player, or pushing to ball forward for a player to run on to). Genuine composure and footy IQ. Every time he's near it you feel something will happen.
Always had this ability but somehow didn't look fit the last few years, he looks to have lost a lot of weight this year.

Bad: Adelaide Oval nor enforcing their own rule

A person may not bring the following items into Adelaide Oval unless permitted by AOSMA:

  • Loud hailers, megaphones, and musical instruments of any nature (including vuvuzelas, horns, whistles and drums);

Conditions of Entry | Adelaide Oval

That ****ing Drum in the Gold Coast cheersquad was annoying as ****

Just cause you dont have any fans doesn't mean you can bring in a drum and make us all suffer with that irritating sh*t.

Doesn't say you can't bring them, just says they need to be permitted, which a cheersquad probably went ahead and did.

Did you watch the Sanfl game today?.. he was utterly horrid.. got easily beaten by his sanfl opponent.

Not only that.. he looks lazy and disinterested almost like he’s having a massive sook because he isnt in the AFL side.

RT had a bit of a stinker too... but for different reasons..

These two blokes are really the only players that can take that second ruck/forward possie that Frampton is currently filling.

I’m not suggesting at all that Frampton has been great but he’s been better than what himm has shown so far over the past month and a bit.. himms been sh*t.

And, as I said earlier... neither frampton or himm are in my long term team. RT is. RT just needs to find form and fitness.

I truly think Berg is a confidence player, more than most. And we have crushed all his confidence backing in Frampton after preseason but never having showed anything at AFL level. Berg has showed signs at this level. I truly believe Berg is the sort of player who once backed in will rise to the level of those playing around him. Wouldn’t be the first guy to look crap at the lower level but step up once selected in the big time.

Sholl again the leading distance runner for the game, that's 3/3 for him. 16.5km, next best in the game was Ainsworth on 14.8. Also lead the game for distance covered at high speed, average speed ran, repeated sprint attempts and 2nd for total sprints (behind Kelly).

He's turning into such a good player, with such a huge workrate. Can kick off either side and took some clutch marks down back too.

Tex is the very definition of Footy Smarts. Probably struggles reading nursery rhymes to Hugo, but he ****ing knows what to do with the footy in his hand.

The last quarter again showed how little impact ruck taps have on a game. Can sometimes come off, but mostly it just ends up in a 50/50.

Burgess played really well tonight. Massive credit to him. Did well up forward then held his own in the ruck against o'brien.

Rucking someone like Greenwood who is very good in the contested work was probably better than rucking their part time ruck tbh. Have Greenwood at least contest the ruck then you've effectively got 4 mids.

Not dismissing what Tex has done, he's been awesome, but gee the improved forward structure and delivery is helping.
It's almost as though under Hart we had no structure, plan or system at all

Very good win, seemed like just about everyone contributed. Tex continues his preposterous run of form, Berry found the goals, Rowe lively, defence held up well, and the midfield solid.

Felt like started all the quarters slowly, or at least the 1st, 3rd, and 4th, which is concerning- but to recover and steady is a positive.

Frampton offered little, and Lynch probably the worst of the senior guys.

Had some quality moments late. Still looks like a 12 year old.

Spot on

Something always happens when he gets the ball. A few of our others have Footy Dumbs but covered it up with effort tonight

What I like about Berry is he looks the type that will always back himself in. Given his yips in front of goal last week, could have been forgiven for looking to pass it off in the last quarter. Instead, took on the responsibility, which is a great sign from a kid in his third game. Also made some great decisions when the heat was on.

He just looks a player, simple as that
