Quite calm. Season done and I'm not mad because I knew it was coming.

We've done well this year, above expectations. But we're never going to be competitive with this midfield.

Yeah I agree it’s been a positive - however has it also been a waste moving forward we have played the least amount of players in the league in a rebuild - why haven’t we used this opportunity to test our list?

This is the type of meaningless drivel that completely misses the point.

there is no point whatsoever winning centre clearances if you dont dispose of it to the advantage of your forwards. Dump kicks into your forward line when youre playing the best defensive team in the comp is dumbfxxkery at its finest.

And not understanding that and simply pulling out a stat like “we won the clearances.. see..” thinking that means we have a great midfield, or somehow that means it wasnt our midfield that lost the game, is even more dumbfxxkery.

What’s really gonna piss everyone off is when they bring Nankervis in off a half back flank, and everyone realises he’s a jet and why the * we didn’t play him 10 weeks ago.

and to make it worse, we will all then realise that rather than sholl playing on a wing, we could have had hinge and jones as our full time wings instead of having to pinch hit them off the HBF.

Honestly, I have a great life. The only thing that lets me down on a consistent basis are the Crows.

And I watch because, like most things in my life that I do, I deeply care about the outcome

Our inflexible selection policy has now put us in a position where:

• Sholl, Murphy, Sloane all need to be dropped
• Rash, Max and Peds all need a rest

i would bring in all of Nank, Schoenberg, Gollant, Cook and Soligo

The results won't change just from selection. I watched the SANFL game. We don't have better to promote.

We definitely need to recruit for midfield. And another preseason in the legs will help our actual best 22.

It's a symptom of our stage of the rebuild.


I agree we need better, but the solutions are more long term.

Will all need to be moved on before we become legitimate contenders.

Keays and Murphy decent depth because they at least bust a gut.

Butts is depth purely because of height.

The rest are just triers or well past it.

Sloane should retire. Smith will be given another year because “metres gained” but FMD he turns the ball over so often.

Throw in Milera who might have trade value, if someone is silly enough to buy the “potential”

Lot of space to fill.

Tonight was a team with young talent who have hit a wall and our triers being exposed - same as last week, tbh.

As our performances have been poorer, we've reverted back to Sloane and Keays. It's so bloody frustrating. They are not fixing any problems Nicksy

The irony is we have worsened our finals chances by backing in our senior players for the CBA'S.

If you have a great life, then why watch a team that you think lets you down consistently? I have a great life too and it sucks when the Crows lose, but I enjoy footy and will keep watching regardless each week. I certainly don’t think the Crows let me down, I have zero control over how they operate, it’s purely entertainment.

If there's people at the club whose expectations of a Crows player amounts to nothing more than their ability to breathe in and out then there's not a whole lot to discuss beyond how bleak it all is.
